The Bushes in Beijing...

Even after 7+ years of being supported by those who think these kind of things vastly more important that actual issues and policy, Dubya still doesn't know how to properly wave an American flag. Laura and Barbara, sitting by his side, corrected him and he eventually turned the darn thing around. What a goof...
He's a GOSH DARN TRAITOR! BURN HIM AT THE STAKE!
FROTH FROTH FROTH
That picture is priceless! I wonder what some folks would say if Obama held the flag backwards ...
I love the expression on Barbara's face. "Umm...Dad? FYI...it goes the other way..."

How about this doozy, reciting the pledge, hand over "heart", courtesy of Par8hed:

I mean, these are things that Republicans think determine whether or not a man/woman is presidential material. Has the old guy just given up?

"Welcome to the McCain administration, where your foreign policy will be run by lobbyists and your president will be prepped by paid flacks for diplomatic phone calls."
While Aide Advised McCain, His Firm Lobbied for Georgia
Campaign Dismisses Timing of Phone Call, Contract
By Matthew Mosk and Jeffrey H. Birnbaum
Washington Post Staff Writers
Sen. John McCain's top foreign policy adviser prepped his boss for an April 17 phone call with the president of Georgia and then helped the presumptive Republican presidential nominee prepare a strong statement of support for the fledgling republic.
The day of the call, a lobbying firm partly owned by the adviser, Randy Scheunemann, signed a $200,000 contract to continue providing strategic advice to the Georgian government in Washington.
Just nauseating...
Did you see that McCain said ""I told [Saakashvili] that I know I speak for every American when I said to him, today, we are all Georgians." Who the hell is he to speak for the nation? Talk about being presumptuous...and can you imagine what the media would have done if Sen. Obama said something alone these lines?
Don't be too hard on him. Chances are he was thinking of the state and how to get all the Southern votes. I'm surprised he didn't bring up Sherman. After all, I think he probably knew him.
Just in case anyone cares, the latest polling report is:
McCain - 43%
Obama - 46%
