The Liberal Thread #2 - No Debate Please

Actually, I find the banner inspirational. There are true heroes in this country. There are those who put duty and honor ahead of their own personal gain. When it was McCain's turn to be heroic, he was just that.

The banner is a reminder that when some like McCain and Kerry were getting shot at in Vietnam, others like your president were getting bombed in Texas.

Well, I only found it funny that a banner ad appeared on a thread that clearly does not support McCain. I have nothing but respect and admiration for the man. I don't think he should be President, but he's given up his whole life to service to his country and that should be respected and honored.

Hey! :headache: It's too early to make me snort coffee out my nose.

Wooooooooooooooooooooosh!

(that was the Irony airplane flying over your head)

;)

(and actually, the banner is a reminder that he's running for President)

John, all kidding aside here. But after seeing your 'Hillary in the White House while Bill...' thread this morning and your other busy posting on the Dis I have to ask:

Do you work?

No. I'm on welfare sucking money from those that do have a job (see my siggy). And lovin' every minute of it.

Now, never forget how the rightwing gas bags treated McCain and still do today.

Duty and honor only mean something to these people when they spit on their duty and honor like their president in WH. But, then they can't praise the man enough.

What the hell is in that kool-aid?

And after worming his way out of service - Bush has the nerve to say he wishes he had the chance to fight in Afghanistan.

"I must say, I'm a little envious," Bush said. "If I were slightly younger and not employed here, I think it would be a fantastic experience to be on the front lines of helping this young democracy succeed."

"It must be exciting for you ... in some ways romantic, in some ways, you know, confronting danger. You're really making history, and thanks," Bush said.

Fair warning: Mexican casserole for dinner tonight. I'll be firing on all cylinders well into the night. ;)

It was a serious question. Roll your eyes until they turn backwards if you want.

And to answer your question - I no longer work - away from home - I work plenty here as does every mom and caretaker.

I'm sorry. I thought you just taking your typical potshot. To answer your question. I do work.

I don't remember asking. But it's good that you're able to keep busy. Idle hands yanno...

And if you don't mind me taking the liberty....that's one of your typical smart *** answers.

I'm prepared :thumbsup2

Does anyone wonder why those who are not Liberal come to the liberal thread? It's very curious. They can't eat their own young, so perhaps they come here to do it.... still very curious.

I'm still waiting to hear why they support their Presumptive Nominee, Bush #3 or Early Onset alzheimer patient I am not sure. All I know is that I cared for my FIL up until December when he died in our home from alzheimer's, I can honestly say I'd prefer our next President be clear of the disease. Any more days like recent days, and he's got himself one great big Medical problem that will have to be put to rest.

You can never be too prepared.
