No, we wouldn't be kicked out...We'd just have to give up cokes, coffee and alcohol....oh, and we'd have to start eating green jello. :thumbsup2

What if I refuse to eat the jello on the grounds that I'm a vegetarian? :crazy2: :rotfl:

I know some on the DIS who won't have a problem with that at all. ;)

Me too...we all just got accused of being Saddam lovers again by one of the people that would be helping us pack.

I include myself because I'm Catholic and to most of those folks that means I'm not a "real" Christian.
Have no doubt about Obama with all his followers such as the people with money like the Kennedys, Oprah(who has billions) and all the other celebs in his corner.

As for Hillary I cant say but she has some of my money:rotfl2: but unfortunately I dont have millions or high thousands to give:sad1:
No doubt Obama has the likability going on:thumbsup2

I really want to hear MORE on how Obama is going to pay for all he says he is going to do. Have not heard him say much on that. Also being I am 50 I have voted for many and I hear all theses promises that I have heres in the past but were never delivered. That is also something that sways me to Hillary. She has been there done that as far as knowing what dreams can be pushed through and which ones can't.

I believe that Obama can bring change but so can Hillary.....I just want to hear more on his issues and paying for them. I cant help but believe that either one in there being a Black man and Woman that they will work extra hard because of that. After all it is still a white mans world...unfortunately.

Obama just said on the news that "Face it, if I get the nomination I will get all of Hillary's vote , yet I can't say the same for her getting mine."

He was hesitant to say it but he did....
No candidate can just take bazillions from anyone, there are rules.

FYI the rules on federal election contributions:

:sad2:

This is why Religion has NO place in Government!!!!!!!!:thumbsup2
This is why the Mideast is so screwed up, because their Religions are the Government!

...and so the mudslinging begins!!!!!!!

His comment is true. It wasn't mudslinging. He is aware of the surprisingly stong cross over factor his candidacy has encouraged. Heard of Obamacans?

I've been touched by his noodly appendage. ;)

I am an atheist. My whole family is atheist. We don't see religion in Obama, we see hope.

thanks I knew that :thumbsup2 my point was I wish I had there money and they together can donate alot more than not having them on your side.

And I would not mind having Bazillions of dollars :rotfl: like that word bazillions ...have not heard that in a long time.

Well, you should go back and listen to the last debate, he did indicate in what ways he would start funding his Healthcare plan, it was NOT far off from what Hillary said... They've been replaying that debate, so see if CNN has it on the website, or is replaying it sometime soon.

As for the 32 million raised by Obama, they had 170,000 people donate to make up that figure, that averages to 188. per person that donated, now some gave more, some gave less, but most were newcomers donating for the first time.... so it wasn't Oprah's money. There are laws regarding how much individuals can give....

I think what Obama said wasn't mudslinging, I think it's pretty true actually. People who are invigorated for the first time towards his message of change, if he's not the nominee, those people probably aren't coming back out, or are less likely to come out.... think students, who aren't known for voting, but are voting in great numbers for him.

Hillary has JUST as many celeb's in her corner as Barack has, and she's had hers for far longer.... As for how many elections you've gone through, I'm not so far behind you :thumbsup2

ah yes but could you imagine the repercussions if Hillary said that :scared1: everyone would have a field day!

Cripes, I can't keep up with y'all!

So here, yes, no, maybe, GO OBAMA!

Consider me caught up.

:rotfl2: be sure not to leave to go the bathromm you'll never catch up...gee I just have no life....BRB need to check my doggies....dont post till I get back...Kay :thumbsup2 like that's gonna happen

Not me! :goodvibes Others on the DIS.....you bet! Most won't admit it though, although some do.

The "eek" was tongue in cheek. :)

I didn't think so...

There's a strong tradition of Christian Leftists in the Catholic Church and I guess I've returned to those roots.

Regardless of if its true or not(it probably is)....It still mudslinging.
Mudslinging dont have to be false statements. When one candidate talks negative about another...Its mudslinging.

Whats Obamacans????:confused3
