I hear what many of you are saying. I think it's all fine and good to be enthusiastic about your candidate. I just hope the close race doesn't end up dividing the party when it's finally time to come together. Please continue to see the good in both Democratic candidates, so you can support the one that the party sends on.
And I can't remember who said something about people needing to be "spoon-fed". I'm one of the people who complained that you don't hear Obama talking about the "how's" of his administration. I didn't say that he didn't have them spelled out, but that I just don't like that when he speaks/debates it's all about generalities. I wonder if he does it because many people respond to his speaking style. You'd have to be dead not to feel something when you hear him speak. Maybe he thinks it's better politics to stay a little nebulous about what he'll do exactly. Many people won't go searching out the hows and he won't turn anybody off that way.
But I sort of resent the fact that you think someone like me...who just wants to hear him talk about what he'll do instead of having to go read about it somewhere...is lazy and needs to be spoon-fed. I like to look at someone when they tell me what the plan is. I don't want to just read about it. I want to see his enthusiasm. Not because I'm too lazy, but because I want to see if I believe what he's saying.

Anyone can post a plan. I want him to talk about it, so I can see that he owns it. If you don't need that - more power to you. But please don't insinuate I'm a baby because I do.
Now, I'm off my soapbox. That's just been needling me all day and I needed to get it off my chest.
