How many of those votes yesterday were cattle?

Well, she did get 30-some percent of the vote, so...

;)

(Before anyone flames...it was a joke. Been the victim of one too many "kool aide" jokes, I guess...lol)

So is this still the Obama against Hillary thread? I kind of wish that things would get settled so that the Democrats would remember that McCain is the guy to beat.

As for cattle voting in Wyoming, there are some parts of Texas where cattle way outnumber people. Maybe that's why Hillary won Texas? (Just to get that possible joke out of the way...)

And this is what I love about the DIS. You make a simple snappy one-liner about the fact that there ain't fricking nothing in Wyoming, and everyone reacts to it as their personal Rorschach test!

:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

Hadn't thought of that. I was thinking more in the lines of, "Well, Texas did give us Dubya, so..."

;)

Seriously, I think this became an anti-Hillary thread when all the Hillary supporters ran away for fear of having to read something critical of her. We've tried having discussions on different topics, and the Hillary supporters seem to think that anyone that disagrees with them is a "kool aid drinker" and "mindless" (the quotes are from one particular poster, but the sentiment has been widespread...again, read the "Hillary" thread).

Personally, and I'm pretty sure I speak for most all Obama supporters, I welcome Hillary supporters here. Shoot...maybe you can explain some of the things she's done in a way that could even win back some of our votes in the general election, including mine.

Respectfully, isn't "She isn't McCain or a Republican" enough of a reason in the general election?

:thanks:

It's enough to get me not to vote for president at all if the choices I have are a Republican that acts like the current idiot in the white house and a Democrat that acts like Karl Rove. I want there to be more difference between my party and theirs than we support inheritance taxes and they don't (which I've said elsewhere). Yes, I know McCain would be bad for this country. In my opinion, what is worse for the country is validation of the kind of politics that say you have to destroy your opponent in order to win.

People say that no good people run for office. IMHO, THIS is why. When the winner is constantly the lesser of two evils in the minds of the voters...are they really the winner at all? Well...they might be, but is the country?

The premise of "I'd vote for a duck over any GOP candidate" doesn't apply here. I'd still probably vote for a duck, but what I won't vote for is a weasel.

Well, she did get 75% of the sheep.

LOL...OMG, I actually just saw an article on comcast last week that she is going to be fined for insulting someone in Kenya or somewhere thereabouts...Her fine is to be payable in livestock...this was a real story.... maybe the sheep that voted for her in WY will donate themselves to the cause...lol

I can only speak for myself. I left this thread while I was still undecided because even then it appeared to be an anti-Hillary thread. I saw nothing valuable in that so I moved on. Of course, YMMV.

I agree that some have called Obama supporters "kool aid drinkers" and "mindless" but the operative word is "some". I don't consider anyone behind a candidate any of these things, at least not those that post here. Yes, the girl on TV squealing that Obama "is so cute!" is mindless but I haven't seen that here.

And no I won't explain anything, not here at least. I don't have the stomach for the trashing I'd get and I do believe that would happen. I would bet that most Obama supporters wouldn't be eager to get into that either. I don't believe for a second that most of the rabid supporters have any desire to hear about the other candidate at this point.

This is the kind of response I'm talking about. This is valuable how? :confused3

Sorry, but there are consequences for the dirty tactics that the Clinton campaign is using. We aren't talking about one isolated incident here. She has demonstrated over and over that she will sink to any low to advance her fight. This is OK with you?
