The Let’s Post About Something Else Thread

Looking through Disney photos from 2003 today. Our son was 6 years old at the time... He thought it was really cool that his fingers matched up pretty well with the 6 year old gorilla hand prints at Animal Kingdom. :-)

That same day we happened to see DeVine! We thought she was astonishing. Does anyone else remember her?

Taken a few years ago when my grandsons were much younger, but they had such fun! I really do believe my son-in-law had the most fun being a pirate pretty much all day, and walking up to grannies and kids and "arrrgggghhh"ing them!20121114_WDW_24_MK_Pirates.jpg

Taken in the last few years. William specifically got his scuba certificate so he could do the dive in the Seas aquarium. He had a ball entertaining the kids watching, and he's gone diving there each time we've gone since. The diving with the dolphins was a highlight of one trip. And we love flying the Jolly Roger each time we pitch our camp at the Fort pooh:

So, I'm not sure if there is already a thread for this. How about we all post our "tweaked" Disney recipes. I'm going to attempt to make that amazing Ohana pineapple coconut bread, but as a quick bread. This idea could help the kids in your life with giving them something fun to do. If your super motivated turn the cooking into school lessons. Math, reading and science come to mind. Please don't reply anything mean. Be creative, have fun and maybe post pics of what you cooked.
You should start that as a thread....sounds fun!! I’ve made Tonga Toast before...

Love all these pics! Definitely a ray of sunshine! So many happy memories to think about. This past October we took a trip with my brother and his family - my nephews’ first trip. It was so much fun, even more than I think we all expected!

And a unique “moonset” picture from when we were going to EEMH at DHS around 5:30 am.
