Wow MK was so empty that morning!

All my planning paid off! But really we never ran into huge crazy crowds.

The Dumbo ride is so cute, I really need to go on it sometime, I always say I'm going to, then I feel too stupid! I want to peek over those fences into the new Fantasyland!

Don't feel stupid! Disney is probably the only place you can act like a kid and not get funny looks from people

I love your pics of POTC! I can never get good pictures on that ride!

I was shocked at how good they came out.

I really have to try a Dole Whip float this year...I have had a Dole Whip, but not the float, I'm always too nervous it's going to be too pineapple-y for me!

Well, if you're not a fan of pineapple juice than yes, it will probably be too pineapple-y for ya. But no harm in trying it. Or maybe share it with someone then if you don't like you won't feel like it's a waste.

Is that a new thing they are doing with the ride pics, putting that "buy now for $14.95?" I don't think I've ever seen that. That's kind of lame. Of course, I still think all the ride pics should be included if buy the photopass CD, so what do I know?

It seems to be the new thing. I noticed it not just on Space Mountain. It IS lame. Totally agree. But really Disney, I'm not paying $15 for a freakin' ride picture. I get exploited by buying other merchandise instead

Glad you liked the cream cheese pretzel! I thought it was ok, but I was hoping to like it a little more than I did!

I think I might have over stated how much I liked it. When I started eating it, I thought MMMMMmmmm delicous! Then when I got about half way through I was starting to get sick of it. I think sharing one would've been better because I ended up tossing the leftovers. I agree though, based on what I've heard on the DIS, I thought I'd like it way more. Dole Whip is still my fav.

Well, I'm not doing as well in the game as I'd like, but I'm glad you had such a successful mornin at MK. I can't believe those people would stand in the sun for Jungle Cruise. I say get a fastpass and move on.

I guess they were really gung-ho to get on Jungle Cruise. Seemed silly to me. Kind of like Maelstrom when the wait is 20+ min.

Wow, it was really empty for you guys at the Magic Kingdom! I love when things work out better than you anticipate. When I went over Thanksgiving with my mom, I had planned on it being really busy, but we had a plan and were able to get through everything very quickly.

That's why planning is SO important. People think I'm nuts with my itinerary but I always say "You'll thank me later"

This is now the 20,000th time that I have to see that pretzel! Methinks I will have to get one in October!

I was really suprised with the lack of people but hey I'm not complaining!

Splash Mountain is close to the top of my list too. And I just showed Mark your pretzel...he wants one NOW!

Whew all caught up Jen !!1Now to test the memory !!First on O'Hanas . we are going there for Breakfast in October with 10 of us !!I have been told by Dan that the bread is to die for !! I also know last year Stitch was a very popular character with the group!!! As for Dinner there we tried it last week and ........ It was everone's FAVORITE meal !! I was shockes as Judy is not a fan of the family style meals , but she dug into the bread , Loved the salad and when the wings and dumplings came out she piled her plate with dumplings and a couple of wings , broccoli was a hit as were the noodles and the meat scewers were devoured !! Thought I had made a good choice already and then the dessert came out . I was fully expecting YUKS but.... another huge hit !!! So guess what is a must do from now on !!!!!

That's great to hear about Ohana! I really need to try it for dinner. If the kids like it than I will too since I'm pickier than kids are

Thanks I'm feeling better. At least I don't sound like a man anymore. We got pretty luck I think at MK. Maybe our timing was good but it seemed every ride got busy after we rode it

The pretzel looked really good. Really funny seeing Snitch trying not to get wet.

The pretzel was yummy but I suggest splitting it. I made sure Stitch broke that habit later on....

Oh POTC is a good one. Winnie the Pooh is pretty cute too. I'm sure it's my step-mom's fav since she adores Pooh bear. I hope you can do Splash this year. It's too much fun to miss!

Wow, you got a lot done in MK during those first few hours of the morning. It still shocks me how empty it was, but that was definitely in your favor, especially for some of the rides with longer waits like Splash and Peter Pan's Flight. I could never wait for Peter Pan's Flight in a long wait

Love the pictures you took of the FLE construction from Dumbo, sorry though to hear you weren't very comfortable on the ride with being smooshed into one Dumbo. At least you still got to experience a great ride

The new HM queue looks so cool and I totally agree on the new Hitchhiking Ghosts effect. I saw it on YouTube when they took down the tarp blocking the effect and revealed this new one and I just loved the old effect, something about it I truly enjoyed and nothing could ever replace it for me.

I see I got the Dole Whip Float part of your first snack in MK right! And definitely a smart move on your part for getting the FPs for the Jungle Cruise, it definitely didn't look like a great day to be waiting outside in the queue. I'm sorry though you didn't have such a great Skipper, but I don't think Stitch would've noticed a difference having never gone on the ride before, I'm sure once she is totally into it, then she'll be more likely to be upsetted by a boring skipper versus an energetic skipper.

Awwww... that poor horse! They must be adapted to the heat, because it must be awful for them or Disney is just very good at taking care of them and making sure they don't overwork (at least I hope so).

YAY SPACE MOUNTAIN! I don't like the little watermark they have over the preview photos either, doesn't give you a chance to really get a good shot of the picture, though I can see where Disney is practically begging for our money, though they already do that by dragging us back to the park every year, no need for annoying watermarks. :/

Way back from page 5, but there is boat from the Marketplace dock to the Westside dock, you don't have to hoof it.

The Port Orleans boats go the the Marketplace dock, the OKW/Saratoga boats go to Westside, and there is a shuttle in between the 2 docks

While I don't regret our two summer trips the heat is one thing that I could definitely do without. You just feel gross the minute you step out the door!

It felt more "real" the way they did it before. I dunno. Maybe it's me but the new way seems less tangible.... like they aren't actually sitting with you in the buggy.

It's true. Stitch didn't notice anything about the skipper. You can definitely notice the difference when you get a better skipper. I'll have to go back and check your answer because I'm pretty sure nobody got that one right.

I know Disney takes good care of their horses. It's just sad seeing them in that intense heat. I'm sure horses living in Florida are adapted to the heat.

Yup. You could easily gain 15 pounds at Disney in a week eating treats alone.

Thanks for the info. But when we were coming back from POR, the boat stopped at Marketplace. Then we would've had to transfer to the boat that takes people from point to point in DTD. If we had gotten on that boat, their next stop would've been West side but the Pleasure Island stop was actually closer to Raglan Road. So we just decided to hoof it since we only had about 5 minutes before our ADR time.

It's a BIG weight off my shoulders. I just about slipped the secret many times to my parents! That's what I get for being the only one who knows a secret. Next time I don't wanna know! Then I won't accidentally tell anyone.

I followed what the UG suggested and it worked perfectly Going to Fantasyland first thing in the morning lets you get through those rides right away before it gets packed.
