The Laundry Freak goes on Vacation..... Now finished 27 days of pictures and laughs!

What a cool TR!!!!!!!

However 2 days out and ALREADY you are looking for a laundry????????? Whadda we gonna do with you?

I just love the Chattanooga Choo-Choo. Did you stay in one of the train cars? They are just so cool. Never stayed in one because we live about an hour from Chattanooga but have toured them. We go there sometimes just to hang out and eat.

Well at 3:45am the alarm woke me up and I was up packing and loading the car. Had everything in the van kids and all by 4:30am and we were off. Made good timing it took us 9 hours to get to the inlaws in Lakeland. Very hot. When we got into Florida Look what I saw:

DH lets follow them!!!!! So he did. But he only agreed to follow because he was going fast.

So off we go to follow them. Wait are you a fellow limey? Wait up for us. Oh darn they got off in Ocala. Must not have been a fellow Limey or they would have went all the way to Disney.

Well after driving a long time (which we did not stop only for potty breaks and fast food) My little ones were getting very tired. And before long this is what happened to my precious little Emily

Ofcourse my stubborn one wouldn't give up at all. We call him Linus because he won't go anywhere without his Spiderman blankie.

Well I am hanging out with the MIL while DH and DS9 and FIL went mini-golfing. Oh what a night I am gonna have. Wish me luck. I did sneak off to get a six pack and I told dh he has to share!!!!!!!!!! haha

Tomorrow off to OKW to get Cyn's care package and then to POP to leave Jessie her present then off to dh's uncle's house for swimming and a bar be Q. More tomorrow.

Well guys today is Saturday and I survived a night with the inlaws. We got up this morning and my fil made us coffee. It was so weak it was almost clear. Then he had no sugar so we had to use equal. I could only drink a couple sips and then gave it to my DS3. Oh did I mention it was decaf? My dh said we have got to find a coffee shop tomorrow or I am gonna die. Had to laugh. After we left there we went to Pop Century so I could leave a gift for Jessie aka eyeorefan1. On the way in to Disney I past the sign leading into the Mutherland.

While we were there dh took the kids into the arcade and I hit the store. Bought DS9 a fanny pack and DD 22mon. a pair of Mickey earrings with her birthstone in it. I went over to the arcade and seen this....

They were on a mission to find Jessie. Never did see her but left her package at the front desk.

Ok moving on. WE went over to OKW to pick up the package Cyn left for me and the CM looked and looked for it and then told me they didn't have it. OH NO WHAT SHALL I DO??????????? I came back to the hotel and pmed Cyn and being the smart person that she is she got a receipt and called the hotel and gee it was there. HOW COULD SOMEONE MISS A LG BOOGIE BOARD? Oh well we will go get it in the morning before we go to Cocoa Beach.
We were suppose to go to dh's uncle's house but he had to reschedule with us. So off we went in search of a place to eat. Guess what we saw BIGFOOT along the way so ofcourse we had to stop to check him out.

He was so huge my whole family fit in his wheel!!!!!

We ended up eating at:

Well we got a late start today because we all got really into a movie.

first stop was back to OKW to pick up our package left for us by CYN. I waited at bell services for about 10 minutes while they looked once again for the packages. The CM finally came out and had the boogie board and bag of goodies but no water. He said he couldn't find it. After 4 CM's were back there looking for the water one CM finally came out and said it couldn't be found. How can you lose a case of water? Well me being the stubborn one that I am I took this as unacceptable. The CM took down my name and Cell phone number and after speaking with a manager told me they would continue looking for the water and if they couldn't find it they would credit my account when I check into the Movies on the 24th. Knowing how my DH was sitting in the van with the kids I said that would be OK and left. Note to self: On the 24th follow up on these promises.

Ok now on to the beach. My DH called his friend Jay that we were hooking up with for the day and we decided to go to his house in Melborne and go the that beach instead of Cocoa Beach. I didn't care just get me some food quick before I die of Starvation. We went to a bar across from the beach and ate hamburgers and ofcourse I had a margaritta. Couldn't help it, It was calling for me.

After we ate we went over to the beach and swam for a bit

Jay brought out his fishing net and my ds9 and Jay went net fishing. What a trip. All of a sudden you have all these kids running up to touch a fish and throw it back in the water.

My ds9 learned how to surf on a boogie board today. He had a blast.

Now DS3 was terrified of the water. He did finally put his feet in the water at the end. He didn't like the sand and water mixed. He was getting dirty and he didn't like it.

Now of course my DD 22mon. loved it all. She is fearless. Couldn't get her out of the water and the sand. She had made all kinds of new friends and didn't want to leave when it was time to go.

When we decided to leave the beach ( A huge storm was coming upon us) we headed to Cocoa Beach to go to Ron Jon's Surf shop. Talking about over priced stuff this is your place to go. I did buy my mom a t-shirt but that was all. We went next door to a hotel and went into that surf shop and they had much more reasonable prices and I ended up buying myself a skirt and a LG shirt. It was pretty cheap. Of course gotta check out the clearance racks. I always seem to find something there.

Well that is all for today. Tomorrow we are off to Bush Gardens. My first time there. Can't wait.

Today we went to Bush Gardens. It was about an hour drive from our hotel. We got there right when it opened. There wasn't many people there the longest wait in line was about 15 minutes. Could not beat that. DH was in heaven because I let him take off on his own to ride the roller coasters. While he was off on his own the kids and I took and adventure to the LAND OF THE DRAGONS!!!!!! aka kiddie land. My ds9 is a ham so ofcourse he has to take pics everywhere. One of my favorites was the dragon eggs.

After 3 hours in kiddie land and one big headache we decided to call daddy and ask him if he wants to join us for lunch. Well luck had it that he was just getting off a roller coaster right by where we ate. After lunch we split up again and daddy rode his last roller coaster while the kids and I decided to make a stuffed animal at what is there version of build a bear. Emily made a hippo and we named it princess. Nickolas made a Giraffe which we named kool-g. Now Anthony is at the stage where he is too old for most stuff but he still doesn't want to miss out so he made and elephant and named it Gary.
Of course we had to have clothes and all. Well a $100 later they all had well dressed animals.

We then went and rode water rides to cool down. It was reading 104 on the thermoniter....... Very hot day. We then got lemon ices to cool down. While we sat in the shade and at them my oldest son says look mom beside you and guess what I saw.

Dumb thing would not move he just sat there. Not to worry my brave baby Daughter ran up and scared it away.

Now Bush gardens was ok. I personally think Animal Kingdom is 10 times better. There was way too much walking in BG. It just seamed like a fake atmosphere compared to AK. Maybe its me because I am such a disney fan but my DH had to agree we would not be returning any time soon.

We left the park and drove back to the hotel. I left to go get dinner and to get me some new sunglasses because the lense fell out of my perscription pair. Man was I bummed. Oh well. By the time I got back and ate all I wanted to do was get some laundry done. This is the laundry room in the Holiday Inn Main Gate West.

All I have to say is Disney laundry rooms are much better. These were ok but it will never be a disney laundry room.

Great vacation so far! I hear ya about your ds being too old, but not wanting to miss out--I have 1 of those kids-- 2 now actually !Love the picture of the little creature my dh referred to as a bug in his excitement at seeing one so close. DD2 referred to it as a baby dinosaur!

Today we went to wet and wild. What a blast. We started off going to Sizzlers for breakfast. I have no idea why my DH wants to go to buffets all the time. I hate Buffets. (except disney's Character Breakfast.) The pancakes were burnt. Now why would you put out burnt pancakes on the bar? Oh well eat fast so we can run off to get wet.

We arrive at Wet and Wild and go right in get a locker and find a table under an umbrella. DH and DS9 take off to ride the slides and that leaves me with the kiddies in kiddie land. They both had a blast. They went up and down the slides for 3 hours until DH and DS9 came back. Now it was my turn to go ride the slides. Ds9 and I took off. We went on a couple really fun ones then ds9 says we have to go on the storm. It isn't bad mom. Stupid me I believe him. For those of you who don't know I have a balance disorder. My right balance order was blown out about 2 years ago. It has taken me a long time to learn how to deal with this. I still have a hard time with spinning things, flashing lights, and heights. Any of these things will throw my balance off quickly. Well we went down this slide and it spun me and spun me and then dropped me into a pool of water and my balance was thrown off so bad that I kept going down to the bottom of the pool instead of coming up to the top. The lifeguard was just about to jump in when I hit the wall and came floating up. The lifeguard had to help me out of the pool. I couldn't walk. I had to sit a bit to try and get my balance back. I got to a point where I was ok so DS9 and I took off to go find the rest of the gang and to get lunch. WE ate lunch and dad and ds9 took off again to go ride a couple more rides and then they would be back so we could go because the kiddies were getting tired.

I sat and sat and watched the kids go up and down. They had so much fun. It was nice because I could just sit there and they could play. I didn't get much pics with the digital today but I did get a bunch of pics with the water camera.

Usually Nick is afraid of everything but he loved the slides. And man did it wear him out.

Now my little fearless one was a trip. She was scareing everyone there. She would come down the slide and just fly off of it because she is so small. She would get back up and go right at it again.

We were hanging out when it started to rain really bad. We decided to leave and go get ready to have dinner with DH's uncle bill.

We go back to the hotel and shower and change. We head out to the Orlando Ale House which is located across the street from the entrance to the Universal Studios. This is a place where all the celebs. go when they are in town. I had the best dinner ever. I ordered a seafood sampler. It came with mahi mahi, stuffed shrimp, scallops, and clams in the shell. I ate everything. I would recomend this place to everyone. Today was kids night and kids ate free. They even had a clown who painted tatoos on the kids and made them animal balloons. We had so much fun. Didn't want the night to end but atlass the kids must go to bed. So we ended our day.

DisUnc there were no guys with speedos on today. Guess they were hiding because they knew I would take there picture.

Stay tuned for tomorrow when we take DH to the air port in the evening and during the day we are going to Wide World of Sports to see the Buccaneers practice for football at their training camp. Hey can't complain it is Disney after all. They have to have at least one shop open!!!!!!!

Ok today we got up really early to go to...................

Just to see.............

So my DH could scout out #2 a quarterback (whom I don't know the name of) for his Fantasy Football Team.

Ok so this took up most of our morning. We then went to Waffle House to eat lunch. I love waffle house waffles. I ordered 2. The first one was great the second one was soggy and cold. So I asked the waitress to send it back and get me a new one. She came out finally with the new one and It was still doughy and soft so I told her to take it off the bill. I would have waited for a new one but my whole family was done eating already. Ok off to the hotel so mom and Emily can take a nap while the guys go mini golfing. Ok they were only gone an hour. Way too hot to golf. (No Duh) Ok time to pack DH and take him to the Airport. Ofcourse DH gets off at the wrong exit and its all my fault. I told him to follow the pictures of the airplane. Ok he is gone. Time to get down to business. Off to the Mall. Had to go to Florida Mall to check and see if Build a Bear Workshop has the Prince Charming Outfit for Kiki. They do not. So now Kiki's DH doesn't have to go on a special trip. The CM at BAB said to either check online or they may have it at the BAB in DTD in CA. Cyn you would have to check there for Kiki next time you go. Ok now back to the shopping. This mall was sweet. First stop............

And while we were in there of course my kids had to go potty. It was so cool they had a mommy and kiddie potty in the same stall. I had to take a picture of that.

When we came out of our stall someone had come it that was famous...

I believe it was the Green M&M.

From here we went to the Playmobile store. I had to take a couple of pictures of the outside. This place was sweet.

We then left the mall and headed to the Old Key West to get Cyn her Resort Pin. I felt bad that she couldn't get it while she was all the way down here. Her first trip to DW and she couldn't even get her resort pin. Us limeys have to stick together. When we got back for OKW we stopped at McDonalds and got nuggets and fries to share. Got back to the room and our key didn't work. Now this happens everyday and I am tired of it. I go down to the front desk and once again they redo my cards only this time they send up a maintance guy. This guy is so old he can barely walk. He swipes his card and says "Yep it don't work" Now I can bearly contain myself. I tried so hard not to laugh. He said he would be back in a few minutes. Half hour later he comes back with batteries. Opens it up and says wow they already put new batteries in it. I'll be back. An hour later he comes back and cleans out the part where you insert the key. Wow it works now. Oh by the way he did finally get us in with a master key. We sat down to eat and they forgot my barbeque sauce. I hate chix nuggets without sauce. Oh well an end to a silly day. Well stay tuned for tomorrow as we are off to Seaworld.

I've been craving Ale House for so long now - I'm so jealous! LOL! That place kept me alive during my college program. We were all so poor by the time Disney took rent out of our paychecks, and we could split the chicken nachos, cheese fries and zingers between a whole table of us for under $10 each. I'd give anything for an order of zingers right now, LOL

Today we got up early and headed out the door for Seaworld. I have never been there before. I think I was more excited than the kids were to go today. We started out and ofcourse I got turned around 5 minutes after we got on the road. We are staying right off of I4 on 192. Well the I4 interchange is under construction and you have to take lots of detours. Well I suck at directions as it is and man do I get turned around with detours. Well 20 minutes later we are back on track. We pull up in the parking lot at 8:28am and the gates open at 8:30am. We head in. Off to our character breakfast. We saw Shamu and his gang. It was awsome. The character interaction was the best. We always had a character at our table. They performed a show during our meal which was really funny. They had asked for volunteers from the audience and of course my ds9 raised hand very fast.
So off on the stage he went. It was cute. We had a bad waitress though. I really couldn't blame her she was from Romania and had trouble with her english. They should have put someone with her. First we got the drinks for the table next to us. We had 4 people they had 8!!!!!! Second she didn't tell us what to do with the buffet. We got our food and she kept going back to get us whatever we needed and a lot more too. The food was horrible but my kids loved their cereal and cups of milk. Oh well we did it for the characters anyways. So if anyone goes be prepared to eat cereal!!!!!!!!!
This was our group picture after the show. It is pretty bad so be prepared. Nick was terrified of the characters and I was talking as she snapped the picture.

First we took off to the artic encounter.

They had caves to climb through which the kids loved. It was really cool in there. Polar bears were active.

Next we went to see Shamu. It was an awsome show. We got lots of great pictures. My kids were truely amazed. My kids don't sit for 5 minutes and they sat for every show today. I was excited because I usually miss everything. They loved the animals.

Next we went to the dog and cat show. Can't remember the name of it. It was so funny they even had a rat trained and a huge pig. Kids laughed so hard. Anthony (DS9) got a mouth piece that glowed.

We then went to the penguin encounter. Now penguins are one of my favorites animals. I was bummed I couldn't get and add a link for my bracelette with a penguin on it. but oh well.

Next we went and seen the pirate show. My ds9 just loves pirates. So this was his favorite show.

Now onto the dolphins. They were amazing. This was our last show for the day. It was not 5pm and kiddies were getting cranky. This was my favorite show of the day.

We were headed out and seen my other favorite animal the flamingos.

We went to exit and ofcourse we had to go into the gift shop to see if we missed anything in the last 20 shops we were in. We got a rice krispy treat. Now for what I paid for this I could have had 3 batches of rice krispy treats at home. Oh well we are on vacation.

Ok one last look at Seaworld and we have to go home.
