DH finally called tonight. He left yesterday for Kentucky in the middle of a snowstorm, and didn't have the courtesy to call and let me know he made it safely. Betty, you want to head to Louisville and use the enforcer kit on him please? I even stayed offline yesterday waiting for him to call. The man cut into my computer time, what the heck was he thinking!?

Jeannie, will you please add John Corbett to the gallery of ski instructors. He could replace hula Santa, who is not exactly dressed for the weather!

Big mugs of hot chocolate for everyone with just a touch of Kahlua. Fresh chocolate chip cookies right out of the oven. Anyone want some?

Hey, Betty. I saw a commercial last night that made me think of you. It's a 6 qt and 2 qt pan so you can make spaghetti in them. But the fun part is that the lids have holes in them so you can drain the sketti without having to worry about it all falling out of the strainer & down the drain! It comes in a nice, fashionable red color.

Bonnie I am on my way with cheese puffs and raw spaghetti to Louisville. How dare that man make you worry about him. So how much snow if any do you have on the ground in northern Ohio. We don't have any but expect 1/2 to 1 inch tonight.

Jay, our family loves that movie. We took it with us to Gatlinburg and watched it 2 times while we were there. I really love it when the teacher hands back Ralphie's paper and it is a C+ and then she wrote "You will shoot your eye out" and then he imagines that the teacher is dressed up in a witches costume standing with his mom. I want to be that teacher just for one day.

Hi Betty! Depending, we have 4-6" of the white stuff. A lot of it is starting to melt, though I can't fathom how since it only hit about 22 degrees here today!

I think of you when I see that sketty pot too.

I have to tell you all something--Dd was sitting at the dinner table tonight telling me about something that happened at school, and said "Mom, I was just LOL." My first thought-that child spends way too much time on the computer!!!!

Hey Ya'll!!! Got my eyes peeled for snowflakes...none yet...but it SMELLS like snow!!! Oooooo...I love that smell!!! The kids are sleeping with paper snowflakes under their pillows and their jammies inside out...is that a Southern thing too?? It brings snow ya know! Caitlin's teacher moved from Orlando in July and her kids have never seen snow...they're gonna have fun in the morning! Got the boots and the snow pants, mittens and hats all lined up ready to jump into in the morning....oh, and the kids' too ....just like firefighters jump into their boots and pants!!!! Hee hee.....I just don't understand why people say I am a big kid?!?!?

HAHAHAHA...I haven't seen that pot!!!! But if I had I am sure I would still be laughing!!!

The cookies smell yummy but I have to say no....AUGHHHH...choc. chip....my favorite!!! This has been the toughest day so far in my "change the way I eat" campaign....for the first time I REALLLLY crave choc.!!!! I will not I will not I willl not........

I spent about 30 minutes talking to "Disney" today!!! I love this day...when the final money is paid , tickets ordered and ps made!!! We will do a CP dinner package on the 27th (our anniversary) , eating at the Nine Dragons with CP afterwards, followed by Illuminations....should be an awesome night!!!
The next night we have a Fantasmic dinner package at The Brown Derby. Fantasmic is one of my most favorite things!!! "HEY! THIS IS MYYYYY DREAM is a line I use a lot!!!


And HEYYYYY...It's SNOWING!!!! WOOHOOOO!!!! The kids are hopping around screaming SNOW DAY!!!!! Um...so do ya think this means it's ok to sleep with my jammies NOT inside out???

Yay for your disney call Jodie!!! I love getting organized and "official"!! 5 more days and we can try to get CRT ressies!!!
We already got the storybook breakfast at EPCOT for the first moring we're there. I wanted CRT for the last morning, but if not we'll at least do lunch there because Emily has informed me...."I just HAVE to see inside the castle mom!" Ahhh, to be 4 1/2 at disney...life is good!!!

Well, quality time didn't happen. Got an email from Allison's science/math teacher and she didn't do her homework again. I do not know what is going on with her. I ask every night about homework. About once every 7-10 days she decides not to do homework. She is also having trouble taking tests this year. I am just at my wits end. She has had an IEP for a learning disability since 2nd grade and tested out last year. So this is the first year with no intervention and the first year of high school and of course this is when the grades count. Well, summer school looks to be in our future and community college is about all she can hope for if she continues at this rate. When I talk to her about it she get really defensive and storms off to her room. The counselor at school has tried to help but if Allison will not do the work then not much can be done. I could just wring that girl's neck. (speaking out of frustration) Anyway, she has to make the decision to take it seriously. I NEED A SMOOTHIE!!!!! To be honest it is so much easier working with the child who does his homework and is focused on school than to have one that struggles so much and then doesn't make the wise decisions about her own work habits. Of course, I have one of each.

I think I heard someone say that Christmas Day is expected to be around 40 degrees C......not quite sure what that is for you guys, but I tell you, it is MIGHTY HOT for us...........we don't normally get that hot here on the coast.

Yes, thank you. I'm better. Good enough to pull out the outdoor Christmas lights. Tested 9 of 10 strands & am ready to put some up when the weather warms a little. Well, mostly when the wind lets up.
