Definately great food shots, but I probably would of enjoyed the animals more. Even the psuedo hedgehog.

It's an echidna....definitely monotreme.

I like taking pictures of food and I get a lot of practice time taking food; but I need to branch out more. I'm going to visit the zoo more often during school time. We're Friends of the Zoo, so entry is free with our membership. I haven't really taken many animal shots and think I might visit once a month and try get some practice in. The Werribee Zoo (the zoo with the night shots) is an open range zoo, complete with safari ride. Its further out...like 40 - 50 minutes away. I still want to go again during the daytime and get some practise in as well.

We're going out for dinner tonight. A friend of DH is back in town and wants to cook us dinner! He's Italian....so I figure there's gonna be lots of food.

Okay I got some sharing here. These are the kangaroo's that came from Australia. Then the pig was just born, they had to pull it out as the mom was having trouble pushing the last one out. Fair food. We had the captain crunch , snickers and peanut butter cups. The group is war, I was talking with security about them and they gave us free tickets to see the show.
