Queenie will be happy. I think Cassela and Yellowtail is from NSW.

We have a good wine industry here and pretty reasonable wine. There are a number of valleys in different states that have the right conditions for wine making.

Popular pastime here is to go winetasting. The nearest to me is the Yarra Valley. I think there are about 20, 30, 40?? vineyards in the Yarra Valley alone...and that's not the biggest nor the best wine country in Australia either.

So you have heard of Yellowtale? I didn't know if that's just the name of it in the US.

It says on our bottles Yellowtail.

Then bottled by Casella.

Does it have a Roo on it there too?

Yellowtail is cheap and popular...for it being cheap. I don't drink it. I think it's possibly more popular in the US.
I don't really drink much wine at all. But I generally end up with those from Tyrells, and others in the Hunter Valley (which is in NSW...about 2 hours?? from me.)

I can't remember...next time I'm in a bottle shop I'll go look. I don't drink Yellowtail much....it might be cheap and drinkable, but it's not exactly the best drop or value for money around.
