I have been but would take a chance on Crested Butte.


For a day Arapaho Basin especially during spring party time.



I skied Whistler. Have more negative remarks about it than positive ones. It is supposed to be the best in BC.

How well do you ski?

Last time I went skiing and took lessons, I was graded into a Level 2 class. It took me all of 30 minutes to realise that whilst my technique might be good enough, my nerves are not. I prefer being at a Level 3 class personally.

I take it you have never seen jury selection before? It is something else. Alot goes on during the process. I have always had an interest in law.

I've been called up to do jury duty twice in Australia. I've always managed to be excused from being selected.

What affiliation do you have to go that expo? And why don't you enter a contest to goto a better ski area?

It's a public show to advertise to the public. No "affiliation" required.

I don't write the contests, set them or anything. I can only enter the contests that exist. I want to go to London but I can only enter the contests out there If you want to create a contest for whatever mountain you think 'worthy' I'll enter it. Until it exists I can't enter it...

As for Big White. It's atmosphere is LOVELY and it is owned and run by an Australian which makes it extra special. They have the BEST Meat pies I've found outside Australia too

We're going skiing in Vail/Breckenridge later in the year.
We've skied Lake Louise, Sunshine and Banff. Loved the big bowl in Sunshine but found Lake Louise not so fun.
Jasper was lovely for atmosphere. A lovely small community with a fun mountain.

Yes they were still allowed in there afterwards, but the judge let them know after they swore the jurors in that if anyone followed them or try to influence them they will go to jail. This is a no nonsense judge.

I have been called about 3 times my whole life, and I know people who get called every year like clock work. I was involved with a case being on the prosecution side and sat through the process.

I'm cooking Rice tonight. With the rice, we're going to be having a vegetable red curry, beef with black bean sauce and pan fry some snapper.

Falling is part of skiing so don't worry. I've had tons of chairlift mishaps. Of couse I've probably been on about 20,000 chairlift rides.

But for beginners, getting on and off lifts is harder than skiing.

Why is this? My ex (over 15 years ago) was big on skiing, and we took a trip to Jackson Hole, we stayed at the lodge for a couple days and at his brother's house the rest of the time. I don't even remember if I skied or not. He tried to teach me. Never let a husband teach a wife ANYTHING, doesn't work. I don't know if it was the trip to Squaw Valley or Jackson Hole, but it was miserable. Perhaps in Jackson Hole, they all went off and I took a lesson. It was too long ago to remember.

What I do remember was that the beer we brought stayed out on the doorstep rather than bring it inside. It was colder that way! Plus the roommate asked "What is this chi-hoo-a-hoo-a stuff?" Midwesterners! Perhaps after the film Beverly Hills Chihuahua more people might understand.

Yes. When I get take out, I almost always get chicken lo mein. Or Fried rice. I can't make fried rice very well. I should practice more, but I'm usually happy with having white rice.
