Part of the Premiere & Sorcerer closing party. Steven Clark even came and drank adult grape juice with us and took pictures.

Did find out that Pixar was treating the Expo to cupcakes.

Not the Expo, just those of us in the Studios Presentation. We ate one and still have one, plus the extras from the closing party. We're on our way to Mrs. Knotts for chicken dinner!

Did Alison's phone battery die?

She said it was dying, so probably.

I stopped DISing before it died. There was one last session before the party, so I was off during that. We're going in for dinner now so I'll be off again for awhile.

Is that for real? Pixar is treating the Expo to cupcakes? Things are definitely looking Up. Are they the Toy Story variety or the Monsters sort? God forbid that there are any Bugs all over them....

Very incidently I was looking at the Pixar FB page and a post was about making cupcake for everyone at Expo as they prepared for the event. So I was putting 1 and 1 together and got 3.

Here is the quote they posted it yesterday.

"Brave, Monsters University, the announcement of two new untitled original movies and baking cupcakes for everyone at the Disney D23 Expo? We've been busy!"

Of course claiming the movies were untitled, I knew these names for a few months at least.

Actually the movies are untitled still. These are brand new movies still in concept state. As I said to Usnuz, keep following my TR and all will be revealed.

However tomorrow night we will be back to DLR to have dinner with some of our new friends we met at the Expo (well one on the DIS first, but then we started hanging out together a little. Now we're going to Napa Rose!

Tonight was Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner.

Tomorrow night is Napa Rose.

I'm really not wanting to have a debate on this. You have your viewpoint and I can respect that.
Perhaps we should just agree to disagree and leave it at that.

I don't wish to create a large debate but I am curious how one justifies implementing something so completely unsustainable...

How long do you propose something like that could go on?
I had a mother who had friends return to uni to do things as a result. Maybe she should have gone back and done medicine. But how do you think the government pays for free university education?

I spent 10 years in the university system one way or another and only because of international students and post grad can they afford to do things. They were completely stripped of funding during that time.

I'm just highly confused as to how it was ever a good idea...

If they fund things for people over their especially in for school,wow I am impressed. Our government is broke and cutting education something terrible. You have to make below the poverty line. And with all the cuts for community and the university its almost like a waiting list. So sad. I wanted to go back but I think there cutting the classes as well.

And that's the thing. Our HECS system isn't perfect...and I'm none to thrilled about having to pay that eventually. But it is way way way better than the student loan system in the US.

It is far better having everyone pay something...than have it end up like it is in the US.

Our government can barely pay for the public school education system....let alone fully funding university. You'd be amazed at the poor condition some schools even in expensive areas are.

I would believe that. I only got to go to college one year and then everything went to pot starting with the housing bust. I dont like government.

I really really do hate the situation in the USA. I saw a story about the situations people have ended up in with student loans. Breaks my heart

I remember in 1979 I wanted to go to dental school the ex said no and at that time it would of only cost 3000.00
