I was on for quite a while and didn't see any action so don't blame me for being quiet.


Anyway got up to look for meteors and didn't see a darn one. Maybe I wasn't patient enough, or just gave up too easy, or because of the stupid full moon.

Glad to see you turn some pages earlier. I was out with a friend earlier. I had a hankering to try some nachos at a place I go to now and then. Now I remember why I never order nachos there. Terrible, some of the worst I've ever had.

After we went out a bit and ran into a girl he has been eyeing. He was kind hitting it off with her so I told him I was happy to stay out. Drove them home and they were hooking up in the back seat. So I gave my buddy a high five afterward. Can't wait to hear his sober comments about the night.

You were having a boys night out? Instead of LASTING??? I hope you'll let us know how the chick story finished up in the cold sober light of day....well, at least the Dis version of it.
Yeah it was kinda quiet until about noon and then suddenly it got busy.


I forgot you live up that part of the world that gets to see the Perseid meteors. Are you just watching or do you have a camera handy? One of these years I might just come camp on your doorstep!


Too bad about the nachos. That's the problem with the imagination and memory. It always seems to want to remember the good points; never reality.

I only have a couple point and shoots and no tripod so I've never done a star shot.

Stars are pretty good here, going into the back country is amazing. Being more than a mile up, clean air and semi dark helps a lot. The milky way actually looks milky like in pictures.

It was just so bright from the mooon last night that it wasn't looking great. This was the first time I got up at the peak time, and it was worse than at 11pm.

We just sent Fran to the hazardous waste dumping center. She has her 15 gallons maximum (as prohibited by law). I estimate four more trips minimum!

I just posted 3 sets each vertical and horizontal blinds for free on Craigslist.Remove them yourself!

Oh no, I'll take a picture of the garage that we're still on progress. Darcy did get the patio finished!

There's still some furniture to put on the lawn with a free sign too.

That sounds fun! I'm going to marinate the swordfish and make up a marinade for tomorrow. I pulled out my "healthy recipes" cookbook for some inspiration. There's a chicken recipe that sound good for tomorrow, sort of Asian, but I don't want to "cook" the chicken overnight so I'll toss it in the marinade in the morning.

If I'm going to stick to this plan I need to make it easy for me!

I think I'll start working on my Expo TR later today.

I had 2 slices of toast this morning, with jam and coffee for breakfast. I also indulged in 1/2 a cupcake. I made some for DS to take to school for his morning tea next week. He liked the birthday ones so much that he's been asking for me to make another batch. I'm glad I'm going to be walking this afternoon so that I don't feel guilty about the cupcake indulgence.

I'm heading out now. It's a nice sunny day in Melbourne, still cold...but sunny. I thought I'd spend some time in the shops beforehand. It isn't often that I get to indulgently wander through the shops in the city...usually I'm rushing in my lunchtime.

Good evening everyone, PIO have fun walking around. I had some chicken, low cal mac and cheese about a 3/4 cup and an ear of corn. I had a small slice of lemon cake. It was a good day seeing homes. One we saw we really liked it has two lots, meaning alot of property. Everything is updated and it is on a well. The only thing it needs is roof which you can get it financed in the home. It also has another little peice of house alone you can use as a storage or hobby area. There is a trailer which would could be used as a storage shed. It has alot of fruit trees.

I am open if you guys have some recipes for sharing, I like change. I have a few if your interested.
