We talked for a while - but it was just surface stuff. No real feeling. It's hard. I'm still crying. Sorry for being a downer on Easter. Letting go was hard enough but this is different than just letting her live her own life.

:grouphug:

I can understand.

I can't tell you how many times I have called my brother and yelled at him and called him selfish because he makes my mom cry (remember she lives with me) and he says such rude things. I think after all these years of him "maturing" he is coming around to a normal human again.... of course he has his own kids now and I am sure he is starting to think about what happens when they grow up.

no downers here. That's why we are friends. and since this isn't baseball, you can cry all you want.

lots of extra hugs.

For our Easter dinner I'm fixing...

2 hams (the shank portions just looked to fatty so I got two butt portions instead - we love to have the leftovers all week long and with the boys being
out of school we'll have plenty for ham sandwiches while I'm at work)

Mashed potatoes

Sweet Potatoes

Coleslaw

Cauliflower, broccoli and carrots in cheese sauce (the birdseye stuff)

Baby Corn

Cresent rolls

and a peach cobbler for dessert

And with that said, I better go get the hams in the oven.

Be back in a while!
