Can anyone tell me what the name of the restaurant is that is in the building were soarin is? I was there in 2006. It rotated in a circle with characters. I would like to make reservations but have forgotten the name. THANK YOU!:flower3:

...last time we were there characters (chip & dale) were out of hand and we felt like they were accosting our (teen) daughter. Shameful.

Well that stinks about them harrassing your DD but we ahd a great time at GG and are going back in June. It is laid back and the character interaction was great but I had 10 and 5 yr old boys. Food was good too.

We ate there last week, and it was actually the most relaxing of the character meals. We were seated at one of the booths on the bottom level, and it was suggested that the kids sit to the outside of the booth so that they could get up to greet the characters. I had my camera out, and was able to get pictures without getting up. I actually felt like I got to EAT the meal. Each character came by at least 3 times for interaction (we went for a late lunch).

Everything was really good, but the catfish was especially tasty. The kids loved doing the "decorate your own cupcake". I will say that the kids really didn't eat as much here, mainly because they don't care for the "Stouffers" type mac and cheese that is served in the parks (they are hooked on kraft--nasty stuff!) They did eat the chicken strips, and we gave them some of our turkey as well.

It is somewhat similar food to LTT, but I do think that we all liked this one better. I guess we will just have to find another meal that features Minnie!

GG at the Land is my favorite for character dining. We took our 2.5 year old to several different dining spots to get a good sample of the characters and I just like the round setup of GG the best. The characters are not weaving in and out of the tables. You see them coming down the row. I also found it easier to take pictures there due to the layout.

We always enjoy the Garden Grill, tasty food and lots of character interaction. My son asks to go here every trip.

We ate at the Garden Grill a couple of weeks ago and the mechanism that makes the restaurant rotate was not working. Our server said they were working on it. Anyone been there lately and if so, was it fixed? Garden Grill is a must do for us every trip even though my children are older now.
