The Japanese restaurant at Epcot???

Which Restaurant at Epcot cooks the food in front of you and is it good and worth the money????

We love Kobe of Japan here in St.Louis?

Right now I have the Mexican restaraunt booked,but I am thinking of changing it too the one in Japan.

I have gotten some mixed reviews on the Mexican restaurant.

Maybe we could do an early lunch at the Mexican and then dinner at the Japanese place???

Suggestions???

We've eaten @ San Angel Inn in Mexico and also Teppanyaki in Japan @ Epcot. San Angel was just OK, while Teppanyaki was AMAZING!!

I would highly recommend you do Teppanyaki, what a great meal and time our whole family had. If you can do both, great, if only one, I would definitely switch to Teppanyaki.

It's Teppanyaki in Japan @ Epcot. It's a blast. Great atmosphere and great food. It's one of our favorites.

Yes it is very good. I eat there every time I go to Disney. It costs more, but you are also paying for the show in front of you.

I wouldn't recommend the Teppanyaki at all. We go to Benihanas locally and it is so much better.

We are staying on site at the Boardwalk and so we won't have a car.

Plus I wanted somewhere fun to eat dinner in Epcot! So maybe I will make an ADR at Teppanyaki for dinner around 6:30 and then switch San Angel Inn to an early lunch that day. Mainly we would want Chips and Salsa and a Margarita!!

I know we are planning a full day at Ecpot...Lots of walking and so we plan to be hungry!! We will probably take a swim break in the afternoon.

I can't wait to try it!!

Yummm, Tappanyaki...

We have several Hibachi-style restaurants in our area too, but it doesn't make the experience any less wonderful. As a matter of fact, the prices are on-par with what we pay in Houston for the same meals. Might as well do it at Disney!

Teppanyaki is really good- its my bf's favorite so we eat there on every trip.

You do get a good amount of food for the money and it is consistantly very good and the people we've had cooking the food are always very personable and funny- and they do some special "Disney" things when cooking that are neat.

I will say the food is the same portions whether you go for dinner or lunch- yet dinner is around $10 more per person.

That said, we are eating dinner there on our next trip just b/c it works out better w/my touring plan.

All I noticed was the language barrier. I don't remember them being rude; maybe not talkative, but that's to be expected.

We love eating in Japan. The tepanyaki is one of our favorites. We visit a few around us at home frequently, as we love japenese food, but I have to say...their sushi (tepanyaki) is the best I've had!!

Teppenyaki is now one of my favorites. I'd never been until a couple of years ago, and I've never encountered anyone rude there - and the chefs always have a lot of fun (when I've been there).
