thats nasty chrissie.. im sorry but when ever they cant find someones body i just think its gross..., hey did u ever see that movie "white out" ? yeah that was a interesting movie..

And they will find him, it is just unsafe now with the weather conditions.

Sara, are you sure you have Asberger's? Sounds more like ADD. The only reason I ask is my son has Asberger's and one of the main things with Asberger's is difficulty in social situations. You show no signs of this. I'm probably being nosey. But you must not be to touchy about it, your talking about it here. I've done alot of reading about Asberger's.

well u havent met me in person. i cant keep friends very long. and i was diagnosed with aspergers. i dont mind talking about it... although my mom tell sometimes i talk about things i shouldn't cause i havnt learned what is right and what isnt. but thre is alot of things chrissie i cant do on my own with out help..and alot of things i don't understand. and that is why i livbe with my parents.

Ok Sara, that makes sense. My son has had to learn as well what is appropriate and what is not. He has come a long ways. He is brilliant. straight A student and the best kid a parent could want. Sara, you can learn to function with it, and if you need to talk about it or anything PLEASE let me know. It is not an easy path, but you can find ways to make it easier to live with. What the rest of us find so easy to do, people with Asbergers struggle with, like having a simple conversation, or simply just making eye contact with a person they are talikg with.

It does not happen very often, but it has happened. I know they work like heck to keep thoses runways clean. But they do drills at all times of the day and night. I find the military aircraft very interesting. We have a fleet of raptor's up here also. Awesome Jets. We have a airshow at the Air Force Base every other year. I really like it, we always have The Blue Angels or The Thunderbirds. Boy, those are neat shows.

It was so funny, I saw the Blue Angels with my son last summer. It was incidental. We were in Idaho shopping and Wal Mart was dead. I asked where everyone was and told the airshow.

The airport was on the far side of town and I figured instead of paying to go to the airport I would go to an area by the car dealers that is flat and should have a decent view. It was about 2 miles from the airport where the airshow was taking place.

We get there and there are another 75 onlookers there on tailgates and lawnchairs. But we don't see any planes flying. So we walk around. Of course just behind the dealership and big parking lot we were in, is the tail end a of a rail yard. DS wants to walk down the little bluff to the tracks and watch a train pull in and stop. So the train is parks the operators leave and DS is walking the tracks picking up bent spikes and rocks. Then the Angels started flying. They were making their turns to and from the airport just past us. So you could see them 150 feet away as they pass right over us. He is more intested in rusted spikes.

It was cool though and he got really dirty. So dirty when we went back in the car I told him he couldn't touch anything and we went to a Wendy's right down the road so I could wash his hands. And get a frosty.

Sara, I really hope for the best for you. You are a really neat person, and if i lived there we would hang out and i would enjoy every minute of it. Matt is a wonderful understanding man to realize what a wonderful person you are.

I understand. I try to cherish a lot of moments DS and I share.

it sounds like you are doing a great job raising him. You speak of him often, and it sounds like you really give him the love and attention he needs. I also remember seeing a pic of both of you on i think it was the dumbo ride. i could be wrong. But he is an absolute cutie.

oh yeah i posted that. that was on the funball thread.. matt was so cute in that photo. and then i took that photo and made it black and white and then colored in just his sons sweatshirt

Yeah it was on Dumbo. That was a while ago. He really liked dumbo. That was his first visit and I showed him some disney movies as preperation for the trip. Dumbo was one of them.

We were talking about charateristics of elephants that other day and how African Elephants have larger ears. DS is now sure that Dumbo is an african elephant.

I also make sure he does all of his homework plus extra!
