Not trying to upset anyone here, but i have a few questions. Princess Row, how old are you and why in the world would your father buy you a brand new car? I guess the reason I ask is I see it here at the high schools, kids driving brand new cars that were bought for them by their parents. Maybe i'm old fashioned but it just seems crazy. I do drive a brand new Audi, but I also make the payments on it. Again, i'm sure i've probably ticked a few people off, but i am just curious.

New license, new car right? Well in Princess Row's case yes. Maybe it's the whole "My Sweet 16" mentality. I think that's the show. When I turned 17, funny story for another time on how I got my DL. I got my dads pickup. It was almost new. I mostly got it because he traveled out of town a lot and the truck was just sitting around a lot, which kept it newish.

One of the funniest things was Senior year they had seniors vote on class bests. A girl and guy picked for each topic. Best cars. A 4runner and a porche. See the disparity? That's because where I live 4 wheel drive is king. That why I was so psyched about driving a truck with 4x4 on the box. Great on the snow, could throw skis or a bike in back and drive through mud into the hills. Getting a truck with 4k miles on it, was awesome, but boy did it work while I drove it for the next 80k.

Best legs award? Yours truly!

My first car the deal was that my Dad would match what I earned for the purchase of the car and my job had to earn enough to pay the insurance myself. My older kids all got the same deal (2 have a cars and 1 still does not at age 23) and Colton will get the same deal when he reaches that age. My first car was by no means new but what a sense of accomplishment when you worked so hard for it.

yes, it did give you a sense of accomplishment, which i think is so important for kids to experience. When i turned 16 I did get a car, an inexspensive used Dodge Turismo. And that car did get in a few accidents. (which were due to my lack of driving experience).When I was old enough to pay for it I got a new car, and boy when you pay for it you sure take alot better care of it.

well hot legs, I guess you got lucky!! Cool, that worked in your favor. Here as well four wheel drive is the vehicle of choice. I have all wheel drive and man do i love it.

What is funny since then, I've never had a a four wheel drive. It mostly means I need to plow my driveway and maybe my street too, to get on a main road.

In town is the states highest seller of imports. It sells, Toyotas? Inifintis? BMWs? Hondas? No, Subarus.

Subaru is an awesome car. They will run forever. If I had not of bought the car I currently have I would have a Subaru. We have a ton of them here as well. I'm watching "National Lampoon Xmas Vacation". It is hilarious.
