Not trying to upset anyone here, but i have a few questions. Princess Row, how old are you and why in the world would your father buy you a brand new car? I guess the reason I ask is I see it here at the high schools, kids driving brand new cars that were bought for them by their parents. Maybe i'm old fashioned but it just seems crazy. I do drive a brand new Audi, but I also make the payments on it. Again, i'm sure i've probably ticked a few people off, but i am just curious.

I turned 16 last month. I never said a brand new car, if it is new to me it will be a used car. I dont want a brand new car, because of the fact it may be easily crashed due to the fact I am a new driver. I have five younger sisters who I take care of all the time, and my parents still have to drive me places. MY mother lives two hours away and me getting a car I can visit her more often. I am a good student with strait A's and have never gotten into trouble. Look at most teens my age....most of my friends are doing way worse than me. A car is a reward, and I have always taken care of my stuff. People at my school drive brand new Mercedes and BMW's I never asked for any of that.

YES i have a photo for you...

yes, it did give you a sense of accomplishment, which i think is so important for kids to experience. When i turned 16 I did get a car, an inexspensive used Dodge Turismo. And that car did get in a few accidents. (which were due to my lack of driving experience).When I was old enough to pay for it I got a new car, and boy when you pay for it you sure take alot better care of it.

i didnt get a car when i turned 16.. but i did when i turned 21.. my 1st car was a jeep grand cherokee.. that thing was awesome... 4 wheel drive white a 89, with power everything and it was white!! i loved it!! then i got my honda, and i loved that even more till i plowed it into a minivan! now i have maribel my 99 toyota corolla..(yes i named my car)

well hot legs, I guess you got lucky!! Cool, that worked in your favor. Here as well four wheel drive is the vehicle of choice. I have all wheel drive and man do i love it.

Also, at Borders the book store they have Mal Moose for $4.99! Cutest darn moose you have ever seen. He is a build a bear moose with christmas lights for antlers. ADORABLE!

Don't assume, that you are young you will crash. A few individuals can throw of statistics. I never had an accident until I was 18 and had driven a lot before that. I had a job that require me to drive a truck 75-250 miles a day during the summer I was 17.


How did you get a license at 16? I though CA has strict laws about young drivers.

I got it in the house, but not wrapped. I hate wrapping presents. I have it hidden in a drawer full of clothes. He will never look there.
