My sons and I just returned from WDW this past Wed. We are going to Universal Studios in November with my husband and his family. We're surprising the kids and are taking them to MVMCP on Nov. 12th while on our Univ. trip. There will be 9 of us all together and it will be the first time any of us have been to the party. My kids will be so excited since they were so sad to leave Disney and both asked if we could go to the Christmas Party some time in the future. We went to MNSSHP on 10/8 and had a great time!

What are the crowds like during the MVMCP?

I think it depends on which date you go and what day of the week it is. Weekends will be busier than weekdays and the parties closer to Christmas tend to get busier. But I will say that the 2 times I've been (both on a Tuesday night) the crowds were VERY light. We walked on to pretty much every ride. We rode Space Mountain 3 times in a row and never waited more than 30 seconds. Seriously. Looks like you're going on Nov 16th which is a Friday so I can't say from personal experience how busy it will be. Regardless, crowds should most definitely be lower than your average day at MK. Have a blast and report back here after the party!

MVMCP November 16th party of 10. Three of them will be first timers and the rest of us have attended a couple times before. We also added the Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace. This is such a wonderful treat, if you ever have a chance to attend, it's perfect for avoiding Main Street crowds during the fireworks and the view is amazing. So excited, 31 days!!!
