Morning all.

Welcome OctoSnap Pfart. :rotfl:

PiO, can I google that cocaine recipe? I need to pad my paycheck to pay for my Amazon vacation.

PK, I want to know what you liked BEST about Turks/Caicos and what you liked LEAST. And if you were to go again, what would you do differently. Yes, I'm nosey that way.

OH, and I found out yesterday that my other daughter in law is pregnant. Do DIL 1 is due in December and DIL 2 is due in February.

Congrats Grandma Pakey!!! :woohoo: :dance3: :cheer2:

Best about Turks: the all-inclusive aspect, the pools, the food

Worst about Turks: hmmmm, my room being near the waste treatment facility and I didnt' think their customer service was as good as everyone made it out to be. I was somewhat disappointed in their laidback attitude about a few things.

Would I go back, maybe. I think part of the problem is PK's age. Thankfully she had a friend, but I found the resort to be too big and dark at night, so I wasn't comfortable with letting them roam around at night, which meant that there really wasn't any adult time. The resort was sold out the week we were there, yet it never felt crowded. Never had a problem getting at least 1 or 2 seats at each of the pools or on the beach. Loved the color of the water, hated the salt content. Burned your eyes if you dunked your head. Got bit up by the bugs, but never felt the bites and they didn't itch, just red spots surrounded by white circles. Weird.

Forgot: what would I do differently? Maybe stay in a different section of the resort. We stayed in the oldest section. Really liked the room, plenty of room for 4 adults. Much bigger than the rooms at Caribbean Beach at WDW. More dresser drawers too. I also liked that the floors were tiled instead of carpeted. But we were at the furthest part of the resort, so I think I'd like to stay somewhere more centrally located. I now also know the ins and outs of scuba diving, which PK didn't get to do because of a few glitches.

Congratulations, Pakey!!!!! Be sure to let us know what letters they are. (I'm hoping for no vowels.)

Congratulations Pakey!! :dance3:

Make sure you tell the little ones all about "aunt octosnap pfart"!

DH is off the next 5 days, going to NJ and my niece and her family are coming down Friday-Sunday :scared1: I'm not used to company, pray for me :lmao:
She is vegetarian and he is FUSSY! I'm worrying about feeding them.

Cocaine from pandol? Nope, not in my set of skills. However, the kids and I recently made goop from borax. Does that count for anything?

Good morning Octo or Pahrt Snap!

That is not skill.....that's an ARTFORM!

So my new name is Octosnap Pfart? :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Morning all.

OH, and I found out yesterday that my other daughter in law is pregnant. Do DIL 1 is due in December and DIL 2 is due in February.

It was an object lesson on Economics. We spent 3 hours learning about the chemistry for the conversion process. I don't think I've ever been in a class that was so quiet for the duration nor so focussed on what the lecturer was saying and writing up on the board. Copious amounts of trees were felled to support our frantic note taking that day.

Right at the very end, the lecturer then told us that just because we can make something happen in the laboratory doesn't always mean that we should. He then told us all that to buy enough panadol to start the reaction so that we would end up with 1 gram at the end would cost roughly 5 times the street value of the cocaine.

I recommend that you go to the Amazon and seek out some exotic plant that would help supplement that paycheck. If you did the google option, your Amazon trust fund would not go very far! :thumbsup2

Congratulations Pakey!! :dance3:

I don't go to church very often but when I do, I want to make sure I get value for effort....
Should we also be praying for the company as well?

I am so lost here.....new names, new babies ( congrats Pakey ) and new interesting ways of make money !!!

Things move very quickly around here . . . even if you are here all the time!

Pakey -- congrats!

Is that a dig....?? :cool2:

I do try , but life and the pesky time difference does me in a wee bit !!

Wickey does own a shovel....

Time difference? I forgot about that. You visit us from the future, don't you?

Real life is overrated sometimes. Better to hide out here. ;)

And Alpha, you're right. We're friends with Future Girl! How cool is that! And I think PiO is ahead of us as well. Hey, can either of you fill me in on the winning lottery numbers? ;)

Absolutely not! I'm here most of the time, and I can't keep up.

Shovels are my game.

RL sucks sometimes. PIO and Scotlass can foresee our future -- that is very cool!

PK, thanks for the info on Turks/Caicos. I'm seriously considering an all inclusive in Costa Rica for sometime in the future. However, if my daughters in law keep having babies, I will no longer be able to afford family vacations for everyone. Oh gee, maybe they would all have to pay their own way???:scared1: I see your point about PK's age and going around alone. I had not considered that.

So Paris Hairless went in for teeth cleaning today. Andy went on Monday. After my husband had left on Monday after picking up Andy, some lady asked the vet what had happened to him to have made the vet shave the entire dog. :rotfl: They had to explain to this poor woman that the dog was naturally hairless. I think she was terrified that her dog was going to come out looking like that too.

I'm NINE days from a 4 day girls getaway to Las Vegas. It will be 4575849875 degrees there but I don't care.

I foresee that it will be Flyday there very soon....if it isn't already!

:cool2:

Do I get a cool super suit !!??

You can have the cool super suit. It's cold enough here right now.

And a DeLorean.

I'll take the DeLorean!

Enjoy!!
