If you could have any job at Disney World what would it be and why? I would definitely without a doubt be a Jungle Cruise Skipper, a tour guide on the Backstage Magic tour, our a waiter at the Whispering Canyon Cafe. All of these jobs all have one thing in common they all have major guest interaction. I would rather give long spiels and get to know the guests than rather ask how many in your party?

I would be a lifeguard at one of the resorts :-)

My ideal would be a tour guide for the stars that visit WDW.

But then for me just working at WDW would be ideal for me.

Either a character during the cooler months, or monorail/stream trail engineer.

I woudn't mind being a network admin either, might as well go with what you know :)

For me either working in HM, at the Confectionary or the Emporium. OR, working for CRO and making sure I notify all the DIS board members of upcoming codes and/or discounts and trying to find them "manager's specials or upsells"

DH is looking forward to retiring and being one of the Monorail drivers.:D

I used to think it would be working at the Magic of Disney Animation at MGM so I could watch the final film montage over and over. The a friend suggest the ultimate job - the people who are greeters at the front gates, especially at MK. You get paid to see the looks of joy and excitement on the faces of kids (of all ages) as they take their first look at the park. I can't think of a better job in the world!!!!

I have heard that younger male CMs like to work the slides at the water parks because of the women that lose their tops. However, I am not younger or male, so I think I would like to work at an inside attraction like Buzz Lightyear or Rock and Roller coaster or ToT, or work in one of the Christmas gift shops.

I'm changing mine to a CM who works at one of the slides at one of the water parks :teeth:

I would love to be a character (Pooh) or any of the parade/show dancers. If that didn't work, I'd want to work in one of the Pooh shops or the Pooh ride. Hmm, do we see a theme here.

Anything - I'll even clean bathrooms if I can work in WDW!:D

But I'd really rather work in Guest Services at one of the resorts. It would be fun to see all the happy guests arriving with visions of Mickey bars dancing in their heads.;)

First, and foremost, I want to be in a show. I don't care which show, just a show. I love theater, and I love Disney, so I can't think of anything better. Or, a face character, like Belle, Cinderella or Snow White. I am sure I am getting too old, but that would be fun. If not, then somewhere on Main Street or greeting at a Resort. I just want to work there sooo bad.

I would want to be President of Walt Disney World (Al Weiss's job).

After all, I AM walt's assistant!!! :p

I'd like to work an indoor ride like the Haunted Mansion, Indiana Jones, PoTC, or maybe even the Matterhorn, BTMR, or Splash Mountain.

All in all, I'd just love working there period!

Imagineer, wedding planner (did you see that shop- and the cakes!), Tinkerbell (yes I would do the flight!), tour guide, singer/dancer in a show.

Hey speaking of singing would it not be awsome to be a singer for one of the shows or parades that are on CD and people love. Can you imagine saying "oh yeah I sang for Illuminations, Reflections of Earth." :p

I also wonder who they modeled some of the animatronics after. Can you imagine if you were one of the models and you get to go on Spaceship Earth and say "see that little boy talking to the girl in Japan. That was me at 10."

I would LOVE to sit in the AC, answer phone calls, and answer ??? about Disney, helping people plan their trips!!!

VIP Tour Guide, Back Stage tour guide, etc. I have always thought "tour guide" would be my favorite job (Disney would be #1 location, but any tour locale really). However, not many such jobs pay for mortgages, cars and private school!

I am determined to retire to Florida for the golf, so maybe I can also do my dream job at Disney then!? Ya'll look for me as a CM in about 25 years!
