The I Love BWV (yes, Hallways and Clown Pool too!) Thread

Yep - indeed there are bar stools - 2 of them. They only have a 3-4 inch back, like a lip, but are a taller bar height than the chairs so work great out on the balconies that are solid - especially as those balconies have a wide, flat table-like surface to lean your elbows on and keep drinks and food on while sitting there. I also brought one of the kitchen chairs out to the balcony when I wanted to sit and read as the metal chairs at boardwalk are very uncomfortable...I used one of the metal chairs as an ottoman to kick my feet up.

Thank you! I'm making mental notes for my upcoming visit with a 1BR BW view!

Just a quick phone pic, but here's the huge covered balcony of 2039 Boardwalk View 1-bedroom:

I hadn't put the bar stool out yet, but you can see how the bar stool can sit right up against that half-wall - and the top edge of the wall is quite wide, so you can have drinks and even a plate of food there with little danger of dropping it over the edge. When not up against the rail, you don't see the Boardwalk below - just the lake and view beyond. And the balcony is so huge and deep that even in the worst rainstorm, there's no problem sitting out there without getting wet.

Hey all, we're checking in Friday and have a couple of quick questions.

1) Most important question. We're arriving late to BWV, I'd say around 10pm or so depending on if our flight is on time or not. Where is the best place on site or near site (around the boardwalk area as far as BCV or Swolphin) to have an arrival adult beverage or two?

2) We're super early risers and always rope drop. What time has the first bus been arriving to BWV? We're doing DHS our first morning so it won't matter then but do want to be sure we have a plan for Sunday when we head to MK.

Thanks!

Makes it harder for dinner at Topolinos unless you have a car.

Our family just enjoys riding it as well.
Being able to ride the Skyliner, just for its own sake, is part of what drew us to pick BWV for our next stay. Obviously walking to Epcot and HS is awesome, and that whole area is just such a cool vibe, but the Skyliner was high on our list of perks. We will probably walk to the International Gateway station, then ride it to HS, just because it's so fun. It hits different when your youngest yells "OOH, RIDE THAT, RIDE THAT!!!" every time they see it.
