I got a bit teary and we smooched and I was off in a flash.

About 10 minutes later she pulls me out of the line and has an iced coffee for me!

How sweet of her!

I went to the desk as they pre boarded my flight and asked to get on first because of my back and having to lift my suitcase alone, and I was let on no questions.

That's good, did they help you with your case too?

Then we were on our way to DISNEY!!!!!!

I got side tracked into the disney section of walmart...I love me a cheap deal! I thought of the pic of the sign but the camera was in the trunk! bad DIS-er I know!

How was the drive from Tampa to WDW? Did you see any of my favorite sights along the way?! (I won't say what they are in case you're getting to that. )

Jet Blue has Direct TV, and thank god because it kills the whole flight without even realizing! I'm getting to the drive because there were some funny things we passed!

Yea the storm scared me more than needed I think, I was lucky for having the good weather!

How was the Tampa airport? Easy to navagate?

It was SO easy and very nice too!

Unlike you, I am looking forward to leaving my husband for 10 days.

Also unlike you, I hate Wal Mart! If I ever have to go there, I'm counting the seconds down until I can get out.

I hope our flight goes as smoothly as yours did.

At first I was sad about leaving but being alone was NICE!

Hi Kat - great first installment - glad your flight was better than ours!!

If you remember we were on a 6:35 am flight out of JFK that morning into West Palm Beach - first the plane was 45 minutes late leaving JFK, then we landed in...... Fort Meyers, FL because the West Palm Beach airport was closed because of bad weather - it put us over 4 hours behind and not a great way to start off the vacation

Great start Kat! I got used to flying alone going home to England , so Florida is a breeze. The first time I ever flew, it was just from England to Belgium amere 1/2 hour ride and in a plane held together with gum and flapping walls of canvas about 20 mins into flight I started screaming we're going to crash we're gouing down. My friend leans over and says "Shut up you fool we're landing "

I have flown to Vegas alone before but the 2 hour flight to florida was bad enough alone. it was the only thing about the solo trip I don't like!

Just do exactly what you did with my avatar with the pics I made for you! You can do it! You have to, it's confusing me now to see my avatar!

We'll see, if we do, I'll let you know!
