The "I am Banned from VMK" Thread.

I'm so sorry Pics. I tried logging on DH's account and that's when I found out about IP ban. I tried replying to VMK's auto responses and got the stupid "we believe our last email answered all your questions and this help request has been closed" response. I'm at a loss of what to do. Help anyone?!?!??!!

Edit: Oh pics? they said about the entering too many codes thing, that they do not allow third party software use to enter codes.... what absolute (words i cannot say here, but am still thinking quite clearly in my head)
 
I would suggest calling them at this point. I there is a phone number in a sticky guide here on the disboards. I believe it is at the bottom. Maybe someone here could give you a link?? Sorry this happened to you. I was entering codes this morning, about 100, omg that is a stupid reason to ban anyone!!!
 
Apparently I have been banned for "buying and selling items." I sent in a contact us form yesterday because two Holiday cards' codes would not work. I had puchased the cards off Ebay for a close friend who collects Disney pins, cards, and memorabilia. He does not play on VMK, so he allowed me and my DH to use the codes. Due to a glitch with my wireless, two of my codes would not go through. I wrote into Contact Us explaining the situation and they sent back two replies. One with how they can ban you for selling and buying items and accounts (even though I clearly explained this is not the case) and another saying they can do nothing with things puchased outside of Disney parks and stores (never mind that the cards were in their original packaging -_-). Ok promising myself I won't cry. Nevermind, I'm going to go cry. This is just ridiculous!

you did nothing wrong! nor broke any values. the cards do say you can Trade them :confused3

It's because people are buying software that just enters codes very quick, people use it to get sparrow and narnia teleporters, Grrr i'm locking myself in my room and not coming out until this gets solved :(

:( Thanks Pics. It's ridiculous to cry over a virtual game, but I feel I honestly have done nothing wrong! We immediately gave the cards to our friend in their original packaging along with other Ebay-purchased non-VMK items because it's his freaking birthday in two days! We cannot get to the parks easily so we have to use things like Ebay to get merchandise (which is exactly what I told VMK in my now fourth contact us letter to them...). If someone finds that number before I do, let me know :( My DH called and is ready to come home from work because I'm sitting here crying. Again, it's a virtual game, but the friends are real! Sigh...
 
If you are like me you probably write down all codes from the arcade games, narnia, pirates etc. If you have those still i would suggest you hang on to them as proof that you got the codes honestly by playing the games. Perhaps you could make copies and mail them?? Gosh I feel just terrible for you!

well dont worry miss, im sure they will clear everything up it was probably just a mistake, in the meantime, dont be sad you still have Dis and i dont think they would ban you forever for what they acussed you of anyway.

You are my hero. I think I'll call and give those people a piece of my very irate mind. Like I just told Roller in a PM, my two year old DS keeps coming up and asking why mommy is crying. Great, VMK. Now you've upset my kids (well, it's more my crying, but I'm angry so I'm going to blame VMK). ARGGGGGHHHHHH!

How many codes did you enter yesterday?? And how many did not work? I know that every once in a while after i get i think 5 codes that doesn't match anything i get a message telling me that i have entered too many invalid codes and to not enter anymore codes....

I am so sorry!!! I hope they get this fixed VERY soon. Personally all the un-fair/un-true bans lately are ridiculous.
 
That's the thing. That's not even the reason they banned me. I entered three codes yesterday. The first time I entered two of them, I didn't get a message saying I had received prizes so I reentered them and got a message saying the codes weren't valid. The third holiday code worked fine when I entered it later. I was having wireless trouble when I entered first two so I wrote Contact Us. They gave me a lecture about buying/selling items and accounts, and that appears to be why I was actually banned.....

AHHHHH i sent e- mails to both of those ppl and nothingg it sent me a mail demon back saying that my mail has been rejected!! ahhhhhh im going to hit them lol even though i can't But i want my character back yea i made a new one and found some of my friends but some of my really good friend are most likely wondering if ill ever come back:guilty: but yeaa if anyone know anymore number or e-mails KEEP POSTING THEMMM!!

well then, I hope you are fighting this thing to the max, Seems like you were really banned because someone was bored. They have not banned anyone for the code entering thing in a long long long time.
