The "I am Banned from VMK" Thread.

On Friday evening, I thought I would try a few player quests. In one of the quests the next task told me to go to the Esplanade. As soon as I got into the room a room warning came up telling everone not to give out personal information. I didn't think much of it since I had just entered the room and has not even uttered a single word since logging on...I finished the quest and decided to got through my messages. Imagine my surprise when I found the following message from VMK staff!!

"Please don't give out personal information. Even telling what grade you just finished, or are going in to is not a good idea. Keep it safe please."

I just don't know what to think of this...should I be concerned and contact VMK? I was only in the Esplanade long enought to click on next task and then was gone!!

It was probably just a room warning.

I'm officially unbanned September 5,2007. But it's like I was never banned because I play all these other games. I haven't interacted with my friends on myspace for so long! And I start school August 22 so I'm super excited because I'm finally in middle school! I'm going to church and now my church director for the junior high students is so awesome. It's like I wasn't banned just i'm to busy.

whether a room warning or not if it were me, and I have, I would contact VMK.

Better to make sure it is not on your record.

I was in this room and someone OBVIOUSLY said personal information while I was trading so VMK BANNED ME INSTEAD for 24 HOURS. I did nothing

Have you tried contacting VMK? Before you do though, make sure and think of anything against the Values you may have done in the last week or so.

It depends on what you did.
Contact VMK and explain the situation if it was a mistake, unless you did something to cause the ban.

I got banned once again but this time is was only for a week thank god but i have a girlfriend who i miss badly and i want to go on. i have heard many things about changing the IP address but i'm not sure that i did it right and then i have also heard about ppl contacting vmk and when you say contact do you mean by calling them or sending an e-mail becuas ei have tried many times to e-mail them and all they say is that they cant tell me anything so will someone plz tell me how to change and IP adress or contack vmk

Omg out of nowhere I just got a ten year ban for entering too many codes in a short period of time!! I haven't entered codes since yesterday and I used contact us because two of my codes for holiday items wouldn't work!!! What the heck?! Oh VMK I don't like you at all

Edit: Oh and they have banned our IP address... I'm so furious right now.

Apparently I have been banned for "buying and selling items." I sent in a contact us form yesterday because two Holiday cards' codes would not work. I had puchased the cards off Ebay for a close friend who collects Disney pins, cards, and memorabilia. He does not play on VMK, so he allowed me and my DH to use the codes. Due to a glitch with my wireless, two of my codes would not go through. I wrote into Contact Us explaining the situation and they sent back two replies. One with how they can ban you for selling and buying items and accounts (even though I clearly explained this is not the case) and another saying they can do nothing with things puchased outside of Disney parks and stores (never mind that the cards were in their original packaging -_-). Ok promising myself I won't cry. Nevermind, I'm going to go cry. This is just ridiculous!

I was wondering why on earth you vanished and never came back! That is rubbish! Are you going to try and write VMK about it? Why on earth do they ban people for entering too many codes at once? I don't understand...
