DH has been in the process of having his job changed over to permanent his offer is $30,000 less than what he is on now to me that is flippin crazy they are so taking advantage of all the job losses in mining i dont know what we should do!
Oh no! That is a lot of money
I know there is always a drop when going permanent to allow for things like annual leave and sick leave etc, but that seems like a big adjustment. Is it negotiable at all? Andona

I would love an excuse to throw washing in the dryer actually just to go buy one i wonder if a tree can fall on our clothesline whilst DH is away

......win win I say.....
While the cut-offs vary each year according to demand and the scores of applicants, that's a comfortable safety margin. Did you only apply to one institution or several to increase your odds? (Don't mind me-I work at a Uni and many many years ago worked in admissions).

Fingers crossed all goes well!
