The I am a pirate/fireman, I am not a hijacker thread, all about nothing in general

Sounds like they have dealt with it - all schools have a no sharing food policy. I am sure they spoke to the child about why he was put in the reflection room -

What more can they do ?

He's in the reflection room every day LOL it's nothing new for him.
And he sits next to my DS, happened last year (does that mean there is one in every class?) and now same sort of thing, he always ends up next to the ratbag kid.
I'm just not sure they ever really deal with things, I think they just say they do to pacify people...

About the only other thing you could do is request that your son has a desk change and is placed next to a different child. A quiet conversation with the teacher might be in order.

She'll see me coming LOL just like the last time.
I just hate being that mother

That mother is your child's advocate. If not you, then who else is going to be his advocate?

You can do it. You know we all know you can....

I would hate to be a teacher :teacher:- so many little sh!ts, oops I meant, darlings and their hands are tied as to what they can do, shes probably got all sorts of merit/demerits going on - basically this kid has already got lunchtime detention and the teacher is aware of what happened- I dont know whats next - they can't cane them anymore:sad2:

and yes unfortunately they probably sit them next to the good kids - cause you dont want two of them together :sad2:

Isn't this the problem with the world...

The child in question has a book to record good behaviour, he spends every lunchtime in the reflection room, and got kept down in grade 1 last year...
Yeah, sit him next to my kid
I guess he has to sit next to somebody.

aussietravellers - I hope your poor pup is ok!

Bec - I would want my son moved. I don't think there can be much more the teacher could do to punish said little sh!t but if your DS has had issues with him and his negative behavior then it is time for someone else to suffer!

Don't worry about being "that mother" I think I was put in that slot this week after I sent a very snarky email to DS teacher in regards to her behaviour. No reply as yet but I'm waiting for it. She has ticked me off in many ways this term but what sent me over the edge on Monday was telling DS he better ask the principal if he could go to America.

Are you effin' serious? He is 5 years old and comes home worried that he can't go and where is he going to go if he is not allowed, will we go without him, because Mr C...... might say no. That teacher is a %@#e. :furious: I have had the principals permission since the 7th Feb and anyway if she though I hadn't sought permission she should have brought it up with me.

Sounds like the teacher might be a little envious ::yes::

My DH has ticked me off today, when I say we're on a budget, I mean try not to spend too much.

I said "what's for dinner?" (I've been at work all day, awake since 4:30). DS says Nando's, so I check the bank, and he's left nearly nothing for the rest of the week, this makes me  pretty sure he has no idea about money.
I ask him why he took out that much "lunch, golf" ( then I remember last months golf has to be paid for that he didn't play because he had a hangover).
He played golf last week as well, and tells me he needs a new golf club because his driver snapped...I'll be snapping something...over a head :furious:

Then the electricity bill.

Wish he'd get a clue...

Rant over...for now

Just watching the Good News Week final... I love Paul McDermott... :lovestruc

I cried during the last final show in 2000, however I was only 16... Here's hoping the tears don't resurface tonight...

Enjoy. And if you don't tell us about the tears, we won't know. ;)

Ranting again ;)

So, told DS last night, I couldn't hold it in any longer, so said

Me: "Guess what?"
DS: "What mum?"
Me: "Guess where we're going"
DS: "Um, I don't know"
Me: "What's a place you really want to go to?"
DS: "Thailand?"
Me: "Thailand?"
DS: "Yeah, I wanna go to Thailand"
Me: "We're going to Disneyworld, in Florida"
DS: "But Mum, I really wanna go to Thailand, they have water pistols in the pools"

What is wrong with this picture?
:faint:
Why isn't there a smiley for banging your head against the wall?

I feel rotten, nose running, tired, emotionally
Biorhythms says my general wellbeing is momentarily good. Tendency declining and getting worse...Tell me something I don't know :scared1:

Your DS wants to go to Thailand instead of WDW. Did he get accidentally swapped for another child at birth?

Love this story! My kids always have the most random memories which aren't the same stand out moments that I have in my head!
