Funniest thing about DS's birth...I left the office and noon....and then called them before 5pm to announce the birth. They all thought I was joking! NOPE...just organized and efficient.Honestly, I felt so good after having him that I could have gone back to work. I was up a couple of hours later sweeping the floor and putting clean sheets on my bed. I can remember for about a week after having him I must have been on an adrenaline high or something because I felt awesome and absolutely full of energy. They made us stay that night and the next because DS was born 6 weeks early and the first day he had a little problem keeping his temp up. But I felt so good we went to Costco on the way home to buy a diaper bag...no diaper bags, but got two new recliner chairs.

I was like that after having Mikalah. I popped out of bed, hoped in the shower, and I was ready to go. After Alex.... not so much. I was talking in the hospital about how different the experiance was, and my dad said that with Alex it was a lot more high stress. The situation and all.. So it just made me feel worse.
Maybe. He was probably right, he generally was.
I have been feeling... you know... the movement that feels like gas, but isnt?
He sat with his dad on the couch adn looked at her, and went back to watching the movie.
Plus he still has his cow tag, so that's pretty much guaranteed another one. They only have 3 guys at elk camp this year. They always split whatever they get. One elk is about the equivalent of getting a full beef. It would be great if they each got one.
