Funniest thing about DS's birth...I left the office and noon....and then called them before 5pm to announce the birth. They all thought I was joking! NOPE...just organized and efficient.Honestly, I felt so good after having him that I could have gone back to work. I was up a couple of hours later sweeping the floor and putting clean sheets on my bed. I can remember for about a week after having him I must have been on an adrenaline high or something because I felt awesome and absolutely full of energy. They made us stay that night and the next because DS was born 6 weeks early and the first day he had a little problem keeping his temp up. But I felt so good we went to Costco on the way home to buy a diaper bag...no diaper bags, but got two new recliner chairs.

After Alex.... not so much. I was talking in the hospital about how different the experiance was, and my dad said that with Alex it was a lot more high stress. The situation and all.. So it just made me feel worse.
