We expected it to happen with the move. It was one of the things we discussed in our pros and cons of moving back, but overall he is much healthier here
I took a nap. Got in a fight with Mikalah about her panties. She also wont let me pull her hair up.. I KNOW she is going to wake up in the middle of the night and demand I pull it back.
Do you guys miss CA (other than DL, of course)? Or are you happy to be home, despite the dark and gray? I bet he doesn't miss that principal in the least, what a hag she was!

Thats great. I dont think I could handle moving to a hot climate. I would HATE it. The sun all the time gives me a headache, and the heat.. Well. You know what it does to me. I am happy in my gloom.

Looking at the weather forecast that is to be colder this week.. I really really miss it.
But the hubby is better (yeah!! No hag!! ) and the boys are happy with their friends and better school .
oh.. but I miss the weather, seeing the ocean.. and having money.
It's an adjustment back again, next school year should be better so just have to tough it out for now.
It's wonderful to be back with family too. This is a big adjustment year for my brother and for the inlaws. Moving around, losing house to foreclosure, deployment.. it's alot to take in for all of us.
Hoping that the inlaws settle in more and we can visit each other more often.
That's interesting; I figured with the slow attendance in the summer and fall, plus the poor economy, that maybe it would continue to be slow through the remainder of the year.
I worry about that. Its not like we are going to go for a couple of years... But Halloween time is our FAVORITE time. and we SO want to be able to take the babies then for their first trip. But not if it is going to be super crowded.
Gas prices have dropped, maybe more locals are going out for fun things?
Did you see the news that SoCal residents can pay for an AP over a 12 month period? Very interesting move on DL's part. Takes the pinch out of the big expense all at once.
Wonder how many will upgrade to premium at renewal?
I hadn't thought about gas prices being a huge reason, but it makes sense; the 'crowds' are not usually due to people from out of state, but locals who come on the weekends. It makes perfect sense that locals might go less often due to gas prices, doesn't it?
