Great idea! I had only been thinking in terms of the two-way teleporters, but I guess that's not really necessary, as players can simply use their own teleporter to reenter the hub.

Just a note to any of you who happen to catch me in the hub but haven't posted here: I will gladly add your teleporter to the Doorway room but it makes things much easier if you post here or pm me first. (I had two people ask to give me one when I was there today.)

I have no way of knowing who is from Dis, and I'm not about to ask in VMK. If a non-member ever wants their teleporter back, they may have a hard time finding me, so I'm trying to keep this to people I have some way to communicate with.

Also, I'm asking everyone to use non-bulky teleporters only; no Stitch, boat, train or teacup as they take up too much room.

Sure, a dark ride teleporter is fine. Which are you adding; a Castle Suite or a room to link in?

Alice, just wanted to say what you are doing is very nice. Nice idea and nice hub as well.

I would offer up my room, but I already have a decent number of teleporters going in there from other VMKers rooms. There are teleporters back to their rooms as well and I am not sure those people would like random visitors in their rooms.

Thanks! I'm very happy about how this idea has been received, and grateful to other Dis members for their generosity.

That's wonderful that you're already sharing your room with friends; I know it's not easy to make teleporters blend in there. We do have two Castle Suites in place with at least one more coming soon, so what we have is working fine for now.

For anyone else who might be pondering the logistics, it is possible for Suite owners to keep their friends' rooms private by having them use one-way teleporters to link in, or by having them set their rooms to "friends only". But of course the advantage of the hub is that only one teleporter is needed going into the room, and if it's a dark ride teleporter, it's practically invisible! If friends are not Dis members, a room could be made for their teleporters and then linked to the hub.

While there's plenty of room for more Suites, there's even more space for teleporters from folks who want to visit them. So those of you who want to add in, please don't be shy!

Haven't bumped this for quite a while. I presently have room for at least one more Castle Suite link in the Hub of Dreams, and several spaces for people who would like to access them in Doorway to Dreams. If anybody wants to join, just let me know.

Thanks for the kind comments - I've kept the rooms pretty simple so there will be space to add teleporters in back.

The three Castle Suites that can be visited from the hub are quite lovely, for anyone who's craving a daily "royal fix". All you need is a teleporter for me to place in the connecting room, and you'll have your own special access.

Bumping this up and will continue to do so until VMK closes. Let's all enjoy those Castle Suites as long as we can.

I am no longer concerned with the size of teleporter anyone gives me to put in the Doorway to Dreams room. If you don't have a teleporter set of your own, I will see if I have something you can use. ("Doorway to Dreams" is the teleporter placement room for people who want to visit a Castle Suite.)

If anyone has a Castle Suite they would like to add at this time, it would be greatly appreciated, as two of the three suites in the hub are no longer accessible.

I have added a quest kiosk to the hub and will be filling it every day with items from my inventory. (Have run out of Dream ears but will hopefully get more if Treasure Detector ever stops giving me one-time-use Inferno!) I have not titled the room as to the nature of what's in there, but anyone who happens to visit is welcome to do the simple "say one phrase" quest.

If you don't need what you win, please distribute the items as you see fit to anyone who you think would like them. I'll be in the room when I can, but it would be great if those of you who have teleporters in either of the rooms could help keep this open when you have time.
