QOTD – While waiting for the rain to stop at Epcot – DW, “Let’s just go... we’re already wet!”

The Score Thus Far –
# Attractions We've Rode – 12
# Shows We've Seen – 5
# Parades We've Seen – 0
# Fireworks We've Seen – 1
# Changes To Our Original Plan – 7

As previously stated, we had decided to skip going to Universal Studios on Wednesday and spend today and tomorrow at Epcot. Since we were going to have a late night at the Luau, we opted to do the World Showcase and the Food and Wine Festival today. Uh-oh, I feel Change #8 coming on! Yep, we opted to skip Nine Dragons and just graze around the world!

But first, we went back to MGM Studios to ride Rock and Roller Coaster- my personal favorite. Then we hopped onto the boat and headed into Epcot.

Our first stop was The Land, where we did the Behind the Seeds tour - please see my review of the tour, Behind The Seeds Tour Review, for more details.

By this time the World Showcase was calling, and we were off to graze! We ate at Canada (Cheddar Cheese Soup), Italy (Penne alla Cabonara), Germany (Frankfurter), South Africa (Sugar Cane Chicken Stick), and Norway (pastry). We also rode a few rides, and browsed the shops

As we rounded Mexico, the skies opened up and it started pouring! We ran over to the Living Seas hoping to wait out the rain, and we saw the Manatees. When we were done, the rain was still coming down, so we headed back to OKW to dry off and get ready for the Luau.

On the way to the Poly, we did catch part of the Magic Kingdom fireworks, so I’m going to mark it as a half.

We arrived at the Poly early, so we rode the monorail around for a while, and then walked the Poly grounds. Then it was off to the Luau Cove! This was another show that hasn’t received favorable remarks on the boards, and I can now see why. The food was ok, nothing spectacular. The show was decent, but some of the dancers weren’t too enthusiastic. The fire dancer, however, is the reason why you should go. This go was smokin’! He was awesome, what he did just made you go huh? Did he just do what I think he just did? Glad they saved him for last!

After the show it was back to OKW where we again collapsed.

Five days down, five more to go – we're halfway there!

Sounds like a nice day. From what I've heard about Nine Dragons, you weren't missing much...:D

Another great installment of your trip report. The Luau sounds like lots of fun.
