I only knew one other person, and they didn't want us roaming the park alone and ugh he saw this family with their daughter (who couldn't have been older than maybe 7?) dressed like Princess Jasmine and he flipped out and was like, "Why would they let their daughter wear that? It's so inappropriate I was raised on principles of modesty!!" etc. Seriously, the fact that his first thought upon looking at a 7-year-old girl is to evaluate how "modestly" she is or isn't dressed is all kinds of not okay.

Then he kept evaluating my personality out loud and commenting on every little thing I did and began describing the kind of person he thought I should date (not-so-subtly hinting at himself) and I brought up personality types and he went all, "oh well I'm so unique and I don't fit any of those types etc etc."

and I tried what subtle tactics I could to make him go away ("Hey let's go on it's a small world!" "I don't feel like doing Space Mountain...") but finally I just told him I wanted some solo time in the park.

then a few weeks later I caught him trying to talk crap about me to my friends.

when people try to INSIST that not everyone in the Avatar: The Last Airbender universe is Asian and that the airbenders are white


is the idea of a universe without white people really that foreign and unfathomable to you that you literally cannot accept that idea despite numerous people telling you that the universe is based on Asian cultures?
