The cool air sent a shiver down Carlos' spine and he wondered why Jeremiah had insisted that their meeting be held outside. There wasn't any reason why it couldn't have taken place somewhere warmer- like inside of the house that the two of them were to be sharing for the next few months. Then again, this was Jeremiah and the other man probably had some sort of symbolic reasoning for their meeting taking place in a wooded area and since he'd never been the brightest crayon in the box, Carlos had given up on trying to figure out what was on Jeremiah's mind years ago.

Instead, he turned his gaze up to the stars in the sky. He could vaguely remember his mother telling him all about the constellations. He hadn't paid much attention at the time and after all this time, what he did know was hazy at best. The clearest memory he had was his mom tracing a shape in the sky that roughly resembled a spoon. He figured that the longer he looked up the stars, the easier it would be to find it.
