I was just sent this and thought I would share it with you...

The Hall of Presidents, the Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom popular, patriotic tribute to the office of the presidency and democracy in America, is being updated to include the 43rd president, George W. Bush.
President Bush, who has personally recorded a speech written especially for the new version of the show, will become a part of the attraction in the form of a Disney Audio-Animatronics figure sculpted by Disney Legend Blaine Gibson. Gibson has been primarily responsible for creating the 42-member presidential cast, even coming out of retirement to sculpt presidents Ronald Reagan, George Bush, Bill Clinton and now, George W. Bush. (Although George W. Bush is the 43rd president, only 42 individuals have served in the presidency.)

The Hall of Presidents re-opened last month with the first of its changes, the moving of the Audio-Animatronics figure of Bill Clinton to take its position with the other former presidents.

This interim show will not include President George W. Bush. However, a “Making of the George W. Bush Audio-Animatronics Figure” display will be featured in the attraction’s rotunda area. The exhibit will showcase the extensive and detailed research Disney designers, craftsmen and technicians do to create the presidents, not only studying their physical characteristics, but also their hairstyles, clothing, fabrics, jewelry and mannerisms to create the presidential figures as authentically as possible. White House staffs of all the presidents since Lyndon Johnson have provided key input to accomplish this authenticity.

At the end of summer, the figure of President Bush will be added and The Hall of Presidents will re-open in late fall.

I wonder how "late fall". I'd hate to miss it in October.

Couldn't they have found someone who speaks better english to record the speech?

Ya realy...

GWB has the speeking capabilities of a kindergardener! There is even a book out about George's speech called "Bush Dislexiums"!

The 8 years Clinton was president were the best 8 years this country has had in a while. He may not have been the most ethical person in the world but he did his job well.

Bush on the other hand is a dim-bulb who I wouldn't trust running a Wal-Mart let alone the whole country.

Boy, I saw this coming... yea he is, no he's not, yea he is...

Can we confine this stupidness to the debate board Please?

Speech problems not withstanding, GWB is President of the United States, the most important person in the free world and that alone means he commands respect.
It also means that he gets a speech. Considering that HoP saw a sharp decline with the Clinton speech, it can't be any worse.

I see my error!...I thought Michael Eisner was the most important man in the free world...;)
:smooth: :smooth: :bounce: :smooth: :smooth:

I think you found the one person who would make a worse president than Bush (who IMHO deserves NO respect)...if Eisner were president all public roads would become toll roads and maintenance on them would be cut in half. Several of the harder to maintain monuments would be replaced with cheap newer versions and the nations Christmas tree would be purchased at Wal-Mart. Can't imagine what would happen to our military.

Why can't Disney avoid all the politics and instead of having the current president speak, give us the original Lincoln address?

Ya realy...
GWB has the speeking capabilities of a kindergardener!

Just love these quotes. You have a person mocking another person about his grammar and this genius doesn't even know how to spell. Nice job Testtrack321!! Keep up the fine work.

Hey Dan, you seem to forget one important thing...

The poster (testtrack321) is not recording a speech for a Disney attraction and this person is NOT President of the United States. I don't think it's wrong to expect a little more from G.W. than I do from the average internet user.

I just thought it was funny that you have this genius pointing out that our president is a moron and he can't spell. If you can't see the humor in this I guess you don't have a sense of humor. But seeing your vitriolic response to our President (I guess not yours) reading a speech in a Disney attraction you probably don't.

I think this has gone on far enough. People can be intelligent, even if they can't spell or speak well in public. Kindly respect views of others, despite political or grammatical views.

A debate over politics does not belong in this forum.
