The Guy Thread 4: Untitled

I find it funny that I learnt how to count to 8 in Spanish thanks to Handy Manny...

In Spain, it's called Dora la Exploradora. That's what it said in a newspaper.

You are not good? I have an extremely limited knowledge of the Spanish language...

Google Translator says "you are not well" so I guess I was right?

I learnt how say orange juice. el zumo de naranje! Naranje is said "nar-ann-khe"

i'd like to learn more Spanish.

I'm happy that I didn't end up acting like an idiot to someone who didn't talk English. I did embarass myself a few times when I didn't understand and just nodded or shook my head. We had someone who didn't talk English when at a bar, and people in the group ended up acting out things like eating an apple, or crisps... I could of looked the words up, but they never gave me time.

Awesome.

It was really... Quiet in Madrid. Quiet as in not many people. Either everybody drives most of the day (tons of cars. The traffic system is weird) or nobody likes to explore. Well work as well. When leaving the plane, we saw hardly anyone until passing customs. Walking through the parks, they were pretty empty, as were the museums. The theme park was quietish. There were long rides for the really popular rides like the rollercoasters, but some short lines as well. I think it's because the rides we went on could hold quite a lot of people.

Quietness though, that's not true. Traffic was everywhere. Our hotel was close to many bars, so there was tons of noise there. I lucked out and got a room not facing the bars, but one of the teachers got one of them. She said she couldn't get to sleep. I brought earplugs with me mainly for that reason. I'm glad I did, because there was still audible noise outside.

That sounds really beautiful. I want to leave the country. I have never been outside the U.S. not even Mexico or Canada.

Well the people who actually live there probably don't want to explore or anything since they live there... we pretty much only go out anywhere to go shopping or to eat lol.

I'm pretty sure any big city is like that. There's always traffic and noise.

It seemed like everyone was leaving Madrid as we arrived.

I like to go up to London often, because it's fun.

Hey Andy.

Milan's nice, but the onlytouristy things we ever go to are operas at La Scala.

We rarely do touristy things. I'd like to go back on the London Eye. I haven't been on in ages. My dad hasn't been on at all. Maybe I could get on it in the summer.

The timer is going off and I'm the only one inside...I think I'll just leave it.

We always avoid touristy places.
The London Eye looks scary though.
I love roller coasters, but ferris wheels scare me SO much.
