It would be probably be very tight, but you may be able to fit it in by laying it from the sink area to the connecting door area. No one would be able to get to the toilet easily (but hey, I have slept in a hotel room with 10 Girl Scouts and 3 adult supervisors, so I am use to tight quarters).

If you don't mind the tight space, I think you could work it out. Now during the day you couldn't leave it there because the maid would need to get around, but you could put the air mattress between the bed and the wall that is between the bath and sleeping area.

If your son is use to sleepover parties and sleeping in sleeping bags on the floor you may want to try using one of those lounge pool floats for his air mattress. They take up less room and they are softer than the floor (again, something we did in Girl Scouts---never had room for everyone to have real air mattresses).

You will love Pop! It is a great resort!

annie1995 - if you move the small table and 2 chairs to the area next to the window, you will have room to place a twin air mattress along the same wall as the tv. That will make things a little tight between the first bed and window but you have the area in between the beds for manuvering around.

Thank you both for the above responses!!!

I think you can request a cot when you get there. Is that right? Hope so we may have my MIL stay a couple of days and we will need to get a cot unless we get stuck with the double beds. We requested a King and Ds will just sleep with us.

Last year he was 11 months and wouldn't sleep in the pack n play either.

Those blow up sleeping bag beds look nice too, but you probably would want to deflate it every morning...or maybe stick it upright behind the table or something.

Hey Piper!!!! Will I still have room for my fridge if I move the table?? I'm sure we'll squeeze everything in somehow, just trying to plan a little ahead now:goodvibes

They won't give you a King if three adults are going to be in the room at any time during the trip. If they do not know your MIL is coming, they really won't bring you a bed for her if you get the King. There might be fire code issues. (Not saying for sure, but might.)
And I would verify directly with the resort about the option of a cot before depending on it, either way. They may not have them.

Hope you get the best situation for you!

They do not have cots or rollaways at POP. You can put the fridge on the other side of the TV unit (over by the connecting door). We always bring an extension cord for charging our various things (camera batteries, etc) so you may consider bringing just so you have some flexibility as you set up the room.

Well the one year old is small he can just sleep on top of the fridge. :rotfl:
Actually I think you may be able to kind of scoot it behind/under the table. From the pictures I have seen there is a single leg table with the four supports coming out at the bottom. Maybe you could squeeze into one of those 'squares'.

Oh my gosh, thanks. I hadn't even thought of that. Arrrrgh I wish I knew for sure if she was coming it is making things SO difficult. I would really like to avoid sleeping in a double bed, we are both really tall so it is so uncomfortable.

Does anyone know anything about the Pop arcade? I would like to know what kind of games there are and how much it cost to play the games? Do they have any games that were popular back in the 70's and 80?. I know someone out there can answer my quistions because you all are so smart about all things Pop related. :goodvibes

Asked the kids for Arcade answers, they have basketball games, jumping jack , bowling game , motorcycle game and loads more . You buy a card to play the games from a machine if you buy $10 you get extra points. The kids spent lots of time in their and loved it. The staff were really great helping out if you needed it

If you want 70s and 80s games, you should visit Disney Quest! There is every one of the old games there. It's fun!

Both of my boys like the arcades, how many points they use depends on the game(s). I can ask them later to narrow it down if you're interested.

I bet the fridge would fit in the closet area.

My 8 year old still fits in her Readybed which is a sleeping bag-air matress combo. You would have more options on where to put that but I am sure you'll be able to fit a twin matress in the room. Just pick it up and put it against the wall during the day.

Have a great trip!!!

Can someone tell me if the rooms at POP will fit a twin size air mattress on the floor? Here is my problem. My 1 year old won't sleep in a pack N Play, for those of you who don't know, its the portable cribs that I believe Disney uses. Since the beds are too small for the baby to sleep between Dad and I, we thought we would bring a air mattress for one of the older boys to sleep on, then DH will sleep in the other bed with our other DS. Leaving a bed for the baby and me. Gosh, does that all make sense??:rotfl: TIA!!!

We have used a sleeping bag in between the beds before but we have a sleeping bag that has an air mattress in it. It was a gift though so I'm not sure where to tell you to look for them. My nine year old daughter slept in it this July on another vacation so your 8 year old should be able to fit as well. Just a sugestion. Good luck!

You could probably fit the fridge under the sink/counter top. I don't know if there is a power source under there, but it is just an open area. We usually throw the luggage there (for dirty clothes) since I can't reach the rack above the hangers. Maybe that will help! :)

Just to double check that all the doors at Pop are magnetic right? Even on the outside? We have a pot of those magnetic letters that we're going to bring and stick on the outside of the door to leave messages every morning! lol

Can anyone tell me if there are microwaves in the food court at POP? I recall that there were toasters but I don't remember about microwaves. Thanks!

Yep ..we put magnetic LGmickey heads on our door last year...have a great trip.

Hi,
Is it true that only the handicapped accessible rooms have 1 king bed? Do the accessible rooms have a bathtub? How are they different from the regular rooms?

Also, I'd like a room that is as close as possible to the main building without having the pay the preferred rate (and without having a parking lot view). Any ideas on what room I should request?

Thanks for the great thread! I'm super excited about our trip!!
