No surry bikes at Pop. Anyone care to post the pictures they've seen of them there? I'd like to see where they were.

We didn't find the rooms too small at all. We stayed 8 nights (2 adults 2 teens).

Pop is great!!! I loved the post about the duck wandering in the room!!! Too cute!!!

There is a link on one of the popthreads that leads to a bunch of pictures, one being a surrey rider. I'll look and see if i can find it again.

We are staying at the POP in June. Our flight lands at MCO at 9:30 pm, so we will be checking in very late. We didn't get a preferred room. Was that a mistake with a late check-in? Where will we end up? :confused3

Here is the link. This link has alot of great pictures

On the first page there is one just sitting there.
I think the second page shows people riding it.

When POP first open they had them. Then they took the surrey bikes out.:sad2: My understanding is because it suppose to a "Value" Resort. So they are no longer there. I was bumb when I learned they took them out. That was back in 2003 when they took them out.

Does anyone have a specific room suggestion for us to be as close as possible to the buses and classic hall? We'd like to stay 1st floor in the 50's. Thanks in advance!

Well the 50's is on the opposite side of where the bus stop is ,but the walk isn't that far. And it depends which 50's building you get. I think 60's would be the closest. But again depending on the room location and building.

everything is about 5 minutes aways from Classic hall and the bus stops.

I think we will try for the 60's,have preferred and connecting, will take any floor as long as it's connecting. I'm pretty sure all preferred are close to buses and Classic hall! I'd heard that the play do bldg is a good choice Can anyone confirm??

when we were there in sept. we had preferred bld. 60's I believe our rm# was 4313. anyhow we were on the third floor, non-pool side and the first room by the stairwell. We couldn't get much closer. it was great. :cool1:

There is a Pop Cent. map on the first page of this Thread, and a room layout map on the second page. I find them very helpful. There is also a "Pop preferred room" map on willcad's map website, (Can I post it here?) www.willcad.org , I think. It's in his siggy if you see a post by him. Lots of helpful maps on that. 50s and 70s wings that are nrxt to Classic Hall are closer than some of 60s, and are now preferred also.

Have a great trip! :wizard:

I may have already asked this or someone else may have but I forget the answer (if there was one lol) Are all the rooms in the 60,s perffered?

I believe if you look at the map of pop (check link above) the back part of the 60's section ( the ones toward the lake) are not preferred

Does anyone have the link to the caculator for times it takes to get to each resort/park and the modes of transportation to get there. I used it in the past, and can't remember it or find it again!
