There was a thread about the Goofy pop jets not working, of course now I can't find it.

Anway, can any recent visitors confirm if they're still not working?

Here's the thread: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2730028

It seems like it has been a long time since I've read reports of them working. When I started a thread asking about them before our March trip because we were there when the kiddie pool was closed for rehab and were hoping to use the jets instead, I got a lot of replies to the tune of "they never seem to be open any more". :confused3

Thanks. I was hoping that maybe they'd be up and going when we get there later this month.

Here are the pictures of the current menus with pricing - these were taken 6/5. I also have a ton of pictures of all the snacks/coolers/pastries/fridge area with all the prices - will try and post those tomorrow. :)

Awesome post! I'm hungry!!

Excellent, they do still have the meatloaf Mom's Night Out.....none of the online menus show this. Confirmations are a good thing.:thumbsup2

This is our 3rd trip at pop. I think this year I will try one of the mom's night out meals. We are on the QSDP we did it last year and prefered it with just a couple of adr's op. I love there Turkey Ciabbata. I think last year I ate that 3 times.

I had the Turkey Ciabtata and loved it too. That is a BIG sandwich!
I also tried the Beef and Bleu - didn't love it..lots of stuff going on in that one.

They weren't working during our Nov '10 stay (and our room very close to them, so that stunk!) and they weren't working during our recent trip there. Huge disappointment, my dd asked every day about going to play in them.

Me, too!! We were at POP in May 2009. We had miserable never-ending rain pretty much the whole time we were there so we ended up eating a lot of meals at the resort. I *loved* that turkey sandwich. I know I had it at least 3 times. Can't wait to have it again...in 10 days!!!!! :cool1:

Thank you for posting this. It gives my family a better idea of what is offered, over my explanation of a lot! We would love to see more pictures when you have time to post and did you happen to take breakfast menu pictures? Thanks.

You are welcome. :) I am uploading all the pictures to photobucket as I type - should have them posted shortly. I didn't take pictures of the breakfast menus:sad2: - I was planning on getting up early the day we left to do it..but I ended up sleeping late , then had to do the mad dash around the room to finish packing.

Thank you for your help!

Thanks a lot for the menu price photos! :thumbsup2

We are going the first week of July and this gives us a really good idea of what's offered at the resort and how much it will cost. Budgeting is something we plan on adhering by as much as possible.

Has anyone stayed at POP over the 4th of July? Do they do anything special at the resort? I know we will most likely be spending most of the day at the MK, but if we decide to take a mid-day rest, it would be nice to know if something is going on at the resort.

TIA

Just got back from POP on the first and enjoyed our first four nights. We changed reservations and had to take a different room. The room was located right outside the pool. Although it was a awesome location it was NOISY!!!!! We were 4 people in our early 20's so we just dealt with it, but just a warning to people who want the pool area, its a great room if you can deal with the noise. But if you have light sleepers, or people who are agitated with the noise. I would ask to be on the other side of the building. Our room was right next to the laundry, pool and pool bar. :D We enjoyed being in the center of everything so we made do with the noise. Other than that our room was clean and neat and we had a great time. Enjoyed our room better at POP than AKL!

Thanks for the review. We always request a room away from the pool. If they stuck me by one I would request a change. That is a must for me. We stayed at ASMO and we had a room facing to pool and it was awful. Ever since then I always ask not to be facing the pool.
