It isn't always an easy life, but it is rewarding in so many non-tangible ways, and after almost 20 years, I have gotten used to realizing that plans change, crap happens, and you just keep on going

Just please keep fingers crossed for me that he doesn't deploy and we aren't PCSing (moving to a new duty station) to spoil the trip--this is a birthday present for our little one who will turn 9 while we are there and *really* wants to have breakfast with Mary Poppins! It is also a present for our older girl who's birthday is the week before we go.
