We also did not think about what other people put into the drawers. We will also be taking bleach wipes for the drawers. We usually use the drawers for clean clothes and put dirty ones in a plastic bag. We are going for 10 days and take clothes that we can mix and match, and do laundry 1 to 2 times while there (it saves on luggage space).

We were booked at CSR with a bounce back from last year but due to $ we are going to POP. We stayed at POP in 06 and only issue was that someone in the room above us was bouncing a ball at 1 am. Are requesting a top floor room this year.

ME TOO!!! Great idea indeed. I had NEVER thought about people putting dirty clothes in a dresser drawer. I have the heebie jeebies now!

My kids keep saying "When we go back to WDW, can we stay at Pop again?" They were ok with All Star Sports (changed our trip date and couldn't get in anywhere else), but they LOVE Pop.

You guys are all making me feel really good. We're going to Disney in August for the 1st time, and we chose Pop because, quite frankly, a value is all we can afford. Alot of my friends have stayed at CBR in theme rooms, or at POR or POFQ, and I was feeling like maybe I wasn't giving my kids the best vacation possible since I can't afford a nicer resort. I know we'll be spending very little time at the resort, and that young kids don't care, but still... but after reading how much to all LOVE Pop, even those of you who have stayed at the nicer places and still love Pop more, it makes me even more excited that despite cost facter, we are staying at one of the BEST resorts!!!

We're heading to Pop in Oct and it's my first time at a value and I was concerned as well. We've been lucky enough to stay at a deluxe several years ago and at a moderate a few years before that. Frankly, it's what I can afford this trip because I'm taking my older son to Universal end of this month. My DS7 loved WL but that isn't in the budget this year....I'm doing what I can afford. I took him online and showed him pics of the resort and all of the pools....he's excited. As long as we are at Disney nothing else will matter to him.

my kids say Pop is their favorite. they have stayed in the following: Grand Floridian, Contemporary (with their grandparents), Ft. Wilderness Cabins, PO Riverside, Coronado Springs, Shades of Green, ASMovies. so...

(their second favorite is the FW cabins)

POP is #1 with my family! Actually just booked a one night stay for next Friday last night was surprised they still has rooms at an AP rate!

Origianlly I was a little disappointed that all we could afford for our family was POP but I am loving all this positive feedback. I am sure the kids will love it no matter where we are...and I am sure DD4 will LOVE the pools...lets just hope it is nice enough to go swimming while we are there. I will be so unhappy if it is not nice enough to get in at least one day. It will be really tough though if the only nice day is BBB day. We have already talked about no pool that day.

Look at my signature, I started going when I was 6 yrs old. I didn't get to stay on property until I was 32. My first stay was at ASMU and I was hooked. I think the values are geared more toward kids. IMHO I think that they have much more "Disney" feel to them. Thus, we are heading back. DS's 8 & 5 would have it no other way. DS 5 really loves the Goofy pop-up fountain. We can't get him out of it.

we stay at Pop all the time. Since I am the only WDW fanatic in the family, I feel guilty spending too much on my special place so we almost always stay at a value. Pop is a great resort and your DD4 will LOVE it.

i am enjoying all the positive feedback about pop as well. we've already vacationed in mexico this year and were not planning a wdw trip, but then i got the monster code and couldn't resist! i did need to go w/ a value though. SO GLAD i chose pop!

We booked our first trip to POP for budget reasons. We have stayed at Values, Moderates and Deluxes. This year were very lucky to receive and 40% off PIN and had a healthy financial year. I originally planned on booking a Deluxe for a treat, but after the family voted, we decided to return to POP for the third time.

Thanks everyone. It does look like a lot of fun...especially with DD4 and DS3. I have to admit I was a little worried that it would not be very nice since it was a value. But than again you are talking to someone who was disappointed to go while Christmas decorations were there. I was really hoping our first visit would be more "normal" since we have no idea if we will ever be back again. I am finding the Chirstmas decorations and POP are growing on me. Everyone seems to like to go that time of year and POP is sounding awesome!
