My family and I will be staying at POP Nov 30-Dec 8. Somewhere I saw pictures of some great fireworks that were taken from POP. Can anyone tell me what fireworks can be seen from POP and also what section they are best seen from?

signing on...I have spent the afternoon going over this thread and the photo threads; mostly the photo threads. We have just decided two weeks ago to return to WDW April 24 - Apr 29 and we have decided to try out the POP! at the moment I am trying to decide should I request the 50's bldg on the lake side. We need a king and a room w/ dbl/dbl... I plan to book tomorrow our two rooms so, I am back to reading more of this thread...thank you for posting and sharing all your thoughts, hints, and ideas

I talked to 2 cast members when I was there a week ago. They talked about fresh paint and flat screen TV's. When I told them I was coming back in December they assured me the refurb would be finished long before that. Sorry I don't have any other specifics.

Thanks! But I will not be using the pools. I'm not a fan of swimming, but I look forward to checking the resort out!

I like that it is centrally located, the resort has its own bus system and don't midn that the lines for Pop are the furthest away.

I still ahve more reading up to do on POP, but I think I'm fine with it. I was more worried, as a solo, to be overrun with screaming children and frustrated parents.

I found it. Wow they look nice. I love the new comforters and the carpeting too. Very clean looking

Wow, I love the bedspreads! That is the only thing I didn't like about POP, those other bedspreads. LOL
But these are so cute!
Looks like new carpet as well. Can't wait to try them out later this year.

LOVE the new rooms! The curtain separating the vanity area from the bedroom, the curved shower curtain, the new blue paint on the walls, new TVs! Wow - major improvements. And much needed too. While I can't say there was really anything "wrong" with our room in Dec., it just kinda had a "tired" feeling. Can't wait til May!

OHHHHHHHHHHHH, so I don't have to pack the seperating curtain I made next time. I might pack it & a tension rod anyway b/c it is so special. It is red w/ black felt Mickey heads w/ our names embroidered on them.
