OHHHHHHHHHHHH, so I don't have to pack the seperating curtain I made next time. I might pack it & a tension rod anyway b/c it is so special. It is red w/ black felt Mickey heads w/ our names embroidered on them.

Don't know for sure if this is right but from what I gathered from a CM on our last trip, frigs will still be special requests and extra $, but the shelves in the new vanities are removable to accomodate them as needed.

What? Shelves in the vanity area, so I don't have to pack the hanging shelf bag? Wow, my suitcases are getting so much lighter.

I'm going to read back through this thread, but I am going to stay aolo at POP in a few weeks.

I'm really looking forward to this resort and hope I have a wonderful time!

Just back from my 3rd solo trip at Pop !! Loved it !!!I didn't see any refurbishing going on in the 60's !!!

I love the refurbished rooms! I am so glad I was able to switch my reservation next month from All Star Movies to Pop Century.

The 70s is the only section of the resort I have yet to stay in, so I am going to request that when I am there. Is that the only section of the resort they have refurbed so far?

Yeah, Rosie, from what I understand they started with the 70s and are doing others one building at a time. I haven't read/heard any particular schedule on this tho. Has anyone else?

Anyway, I'm happy they have "MY" rooms all done for my next trip! I always request 70s, 4th floor, lakeside now. Love it there!

I saw the same thing! Does anyone know if the fridges they offer as well as store bought fridges (Bro in law is a truck driver!!) can fit under the sink area? When we were there last we had one by the table and chairs but it took up too much room. We will also have a cooler with us for bagels, sodas and other cold stuff and we wanted to make the sink area our food storage area too. We plan on bringing our own toaster for breakfast. I have heard that this is frowned upon though. When we spoke to a CM at the resort they said that we could bring it as long as it didn't stay plugged in the whole time. I dont know if the fact that we have a special needs toddler makes a difference though.

Yep, my bad. I meant the TV Stand/Dresser thingy. If you look to the left of the drawers, those shelves can be removed to fit the frig in.

quick question: What building has the preferred rooms. My friend has a ressie for March for a preferred room.... I thought maybe she could get a newly refurbished also. They re-did the 1970s building right? are those considered preferred?

I've tried researching other resorts and it's really hard to find all the info together.
