Hi, friends of mine stayed in the 70's building over spring break. When I asked, they said the room they were given was not newly renovated. I had read a few months ago that they were renovating the 70's. Apparently, they have not finished yet.

Yes, building 10 is not done yet - so far as we know. They were probably in the Big Wheel building.

Does anyone else think the refurb is moving kinda slow?

Thanks for your review with the good and the bad.

I placed magnetic dis signs on my door the first night and when we returned to our room they were gone, how dare you steal my signs I worked to hard on who ever you are!

This really burns me. grrrrr!

We did online check in and had made the requests of

We asked the CM if where were any other rooms available that were what we requested. She was more then happy to look. We didn't like what was available so we kept what we had. We made sure to thank her for taking the time to look. It didn't take very long and there weren't very many people in line.

So Yes, you can ask for a different room if what you get through online check in isn't to your liking.

It turned out to be okay. I did the online check-in and when I got to my room my Owners Locker had already been delivered. Now that could be good but what if I had gone to front desk to request a different room No one told me that my locker was there.

We always unpack our clothes and put them in the drawers. I despise living out of my suitcase. However, we roll our clothes when we pack them. It takes up much less space and you can bring more clothes that way. We have to unpack them so we can actually SEE our outfits!

I'm the same way. I like to unpack my clothes and put them in drawers or hang up. I always wipe out the inside of the drawers with a clorox wipe before placing my clothes in there.

I also roll some clothes in the suitcase and do the space bag for my underwear, socks, and pj's. It's nice to know that if TSA goes thru my luggage they won't be touching my underwear.

When I pack to come home, everything goes in the space bag's (I bring extra) and then I have more room for souvenir's. I also sort my clothes when I pack to come home so I can just dump a bag directly into the washer. I hate doing the wash after a trip so this helps me a bit.

So I am not ues to eating Breakfast at POP,and I see that they start serving at 6am. So Is all of there Breakfast menu avalable at 6am?, I ask because when It comes to Dinnier they say there open to midnight but its not all there menuse Is avalable say after 11. So I am just wondering to the folks that have try eating that early If Its all open or just one area say the grill.

Do you use the space bags that need the vacuum clearer to suck the air out? If so is it hard to find house keepng that will let you use their vacuum?

No, I use the kind you roll or press the air out.

Good to know since my ME picks up at 7:30. Looks like pancakes or waffles will work for me.

Oh good to know thanks. I haven't tried those kind yet. I have used in the past the large zip locks. Only hold a few clothing items but you can use several bags. I always have ziplock bags left over since I over pack.

We just switched from Coronado Springs to the Pop this morning and added on Free Dining. Can anyone confirm that the Pop has a early AM breakfast bus that starts running at 6:30 AM? I called the hotel directly this Saturday...but the CM was slightly less than convincing.

I can definitely confirm that there is a breakfast bus, but I was always told it didn't start running til 7:00a.m. and I've never caught it before then.

I'd love to know too if it really runs that early.

Last September we had a 7:00am reservation at CM and caught the bus at about 6:35am....so they do run that early!

And the POP bus drivers we've gotten for breakfast bus service are really really nice about dropping you where you need to go. We had an early breakfast at Chef Mickey's one morning and we left early so we could go to the MK TTC then catch a monorail to Chef Mickeys....the bus driver asked where we were headed off too and he dropped us directly at the hotel Then we rode the monorail to the park once we were done. We did this at another restaurant too....but I can't remember which it was. I'm sure it'll come to me as soon as I submit the post LOL

Yes, I thought the refurb would be finished by my trip in August, at least. Sadly, it looks like it will not be. I think we were in that building last year too. I love the location, so I will not forgo my request for that building. I still have three months and three weeks left. Does that mean they gave up on that building and are working on another?
