Does anyone know if any of the pools at POP have zero entry?

What is Zero entry if you mean you can walk right in like a wave pool or steps like some have I know the Hippy Hoppy doesn't !! But forget it I could be wrong someone else better help you!!:lmao::lmao:I am not a pool expert !! Now ask me about the food court and I am much more knowledgeable !!! :cool1:

We will be at POP in August for FD. My husband has recently had knee surgery and will be in a large brace during our trip:sad2: We have requested a king bed with an adjoining room for our 4 kids, so that he will have plenty of room and I won't knock his knee around while we are sleeping. my question is......How hard is it to get a King bed when you request it? I know they are limited availability but I am hoping that more people would rather have 2 beds so their family is all in one room. Anyone know?
Also does anyone know if they are have replaced all of the mattresses at POP?

Any info is greatly appreciated. :worship:

I would call Special Needs and see if they can help - if they get involved, it may be more likely that you get it.

FYI - I just thought that I'd post this in case anyone is interested. I often read questions about the mattresses at Pop. I have back and hip problems and my boyfriend has back and leg problems. We were totally pain free while at Pop and I think it has to do with the beds. After getting back home and sleeping in my bed for one night, I woke up with my hip and back killing me as usual.

Just got back from POP a few days ago. The kiddie pool is STILL closed. None of the other pools are zero entry. Try using the goofy sprayers. My 2 year old LOVED them.

The mattress in our room was new. We checked when we got there. It was also the most comfortable mattress we've ever had in a hotel! Our room was clean as could be and could have passed for new. No mold/mildew in the restrooms, no cobwebs or dustbunnies in the corners. Excellent mousekeeping.

Longest wait for a bus: 20 minutes but it was only once. most of the time it was around 10 minutes. Never once had to stand on a bus. They had plenty of service.

Food court: horrible. We never at there except for breakfast but the bacon was always old and floppy, the pancakes were hard as rocks, the eggs cold and dry. We tried 3 days with the same result. We started using the muffins/bakery items. It was much better.

I know this is a long shot but here it goes...:wizard:
My parents JUST decided they want to join us @Disney in August :cheer2:
We booked back in February with a pin code (GVO) at Pop with Free Dining...I called last night and again this morning to add my parents and there is NOTHING available @Pop w/Free Dining for our dates....the CM just suggested calling back in case anyone cancels...:headache:
Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions for securing a reservation for my parents? Or if anyone is going to cancel, please PM me!

:thanks:

not canceling so no PM but you may play with the dates, they just may not get to stay as long as ya'll. For example, I was playing with my dates for my sister and her kids---8/16-8/23 and it showed nothing available, but if I cut it down to 8/16-8/20 it was available!
So now they are joining us :yay::yay::yay:

Cool! :cool2:
Thanks for responding...they actually don't need to stay the whole week....did you do this online or on the phone?!?!?

How is it? We are considering the pizza for our first night there but will have access to a car and could go off site. I like convenient but not if it tastes like those fund-raiser pizzas that my kids sell! :lmao: TIA.

Hi, my name is Veronica. I have a reservation at Pop, from August 16 to 28 with free dinning. I am trying to change the reservation to All Star Music. I will call in a few moments to see if I can change it. A few weeks ago the All Star was sold out so I couldn,t change my reservation. Let me know how can I help you,Vero.

Even if you arent a member-- its first come first serve. We are members and have upgraded a few times this way. The price goes by how far-- and if its a lay over--its each leg of the flight..

When you are checking in online== IF there are options to upgrade it will be noted on that page when you check in-- you click on yes to upgrade and there is no luggage fees for first class. You will have to pay for this when you are checking in online- have your credit card handy and be ready- you can lose your seats while putting in numbers.

I suggest that you log on to check in 5 minutes before you flight-- and when its time-- jsut click enter. dont spare a second of that time

So glad you had a great trip:woohoo:... and terrific news about your room. which section were you in, please?

It is too bad about the food court though - it's been consistently one of the best, but things change all the time at Disney resorts. Hoping this was just bad luck.:thumbsup2 So sorry!

Hey, Kristineamb!!! Hope you've gotten at least some of the days. If not, fingers crossed that it becomes available soon. ::yes:: How nice you're parents are joining you all - what fun you're gonna have!!!

The pizza is okay. It is not the best I have ever had, but it is not as bad as the fund-raiser pizzas that I have had. We usually get it for one of our dinners. Usually a night when we just want to stay in and relax.
