I do know that DisBoards has put a stop to the stroller swaps, at least the ones with money exchanging hands. As for the fridges, I would think Disney might get sick of storing the fridges in between but I can see it being okay if it goes from one to another without ever going into storage. I am sure if Disney is storing 5 fridges or so it could take up some room.

As for the breastmilk, I could see that as a medical need if they are not on formula or milk then they need breastmilk and how else would you store it. It can't hurt to call the resort and ask.

Hmmm...that's interesting. How would you prove that you are breastfeeding? A Dr.'s note?

We will be a POP tomorrow and can't wait! Out first time at POP and really looking forward to it;)

I dod know that there are now Yahoo groups that have started for photopass/fridge/stroller swaps.
If you just search photopass share you can find these groups as they seem to be all combined. so far they are pretty slow, but once it gets established you might be able to find a fridge to swap or whatever your need may be.

from the 90's to classic hall is much quicker than the map makes it look.....your practically right there at the bus stop....(if you cut across the parking lot...not to worry there is a side walk to walk on if you choose) there is an entrance to classical right at the bus stop which takes you straight into the gift shop/food court so yes your close to classic hall as well....when i was originally assigned there i was a bit upset thinking I would be stuck in some weird corner of the resort...but it was actually in my opinion the better choice for us....we spent hours in the park and trust me being able to cut across to the room so quickly was great....being on the ground floor was a plus! no waiting for the elevator or standing in one for the matter....

We were in the 90's on our last trip to and had this same experience - it worked great :thumbsup2 We were on the 4th floor even and that wasn't bad either.

Pop Century is awesome! And the shops and food courts looks awesome! I got the 50's but in the room is falling apart tv isn't working and the phone isn't working too! I don't know if i want to stay in POP century Again!

I hope they bring back the frozen slurpees at Pop Century. I missed them on our last visit. CM said he did not know if they were gone for good or being repaired.
That was one of the things that made PC special above the AStars

Go down to the front desk and ask them to repair/replace the television and telephone. I would ask for the manager if possible. If they are unable to solve the issues with the phone and television, I would ask for another room. I hope you're able to get the problems resolved quickly. :goodvibes

MOST of the time, mgmt will fix any issues as long as its brought to their attention. If they are unable to, they will offer to move the guest to a different room. Housekeeping should check to make sure the room is in working order as they clean them. They may have not caught the TV not working properly, but the telephone they should have. After housekeeping cleans a room, they dial a # on the room phone and type a certain # to change the status of the room, such as from dirty to clean.

Called my TA Thursday and had her attach our room requests onto our reservation. Hopefully, all will work out okay. I am hoping since we plan to check in at 8am and then head to the park there will be some options open if we don't get our requests. Just to have the first two met, connected room and 80's would be great.

We just returned 28th from 1st POP visit.:thumbsup2 Loved it! We've stayed at CR and CBR in the past POP was much better than either in our opinion. We stayed in the 90's rooms 8231 and 8230 got conecting rooms like requested.:)
We gently reminded front desk about medical needs fridge and it was in our room by evening. Our room was close to parking lot which we liked since we drove our rental every day. Classic Hall was just a nice stroll away. We loved the pools(Hippy Dippy and Computer) never went to Bowling Pin. Food court was yummy and staff was willing to modify items to please. Enjoyed a "Pinacalava" at pool bar.:goodvibes We always felt safe strolling around late at night and the kids couldn't get enough of the arcade. We will definately be back!:yay: One funny thing happened, late one night while getting ready for bed I looked toward the window and there was a FROG hanging there on the curtains!!!:eek::eek::scared::scared::scared: My 12 year old scooped him into a cup and set him free.:rotfl::rotfl: What a commotion we had over that little frog :lmao::lmao: Still not sure how he ended up on the 2nd floor :confused3 all we could guess is some little frog lovers had brought him up and he hopped in our room during mousekeeping.:confused3

Actually, whoever posted what I read on the budget board said you needed a note! The CM said it wouldn't be necessary though. I called yesterday and had this added to our reservation info. I did choose to be safe and called the baby's pediatrician anyways. He said that in his seventeen years, no one has ever asked for such a thing! :rotfl: Honestly, with all the medical privacy laws and such, I wonder if they really can require a note at all. :confused3 At least we're covered either way though!

I'm a little worried my posting this over here too could lead to abuse though... If you don't really NEED a fridge for breastmilk, please don't pretend that you do! :goodvibes

Is there some thing special about these slurpees... are they different from the ones you can get at the 7-11?

We were in 50's too (3117). We had a burned out light in the bathroom. Maintenance came within minutes. As it turned out it was an electrical problem which took more time to fix but it was fixed and later a supervisor came to see us and asked if everything was satisfactory.

I'll be interested to see if they need the note. I will still be breastfeeding DS when we go on our next trip. It would be nice to have some pumped milk so I could have a drink or two at dinner. Please let me know when you return.

Too funny. I was reading all this stuff about BM and thinking to myself, hmmm, I don't think I could actually convince them I'm bf my youngest son - he is 12 after all. Ewwwww...

Just so you know, I am kidding of course. No free fridge is that important.

Gotta say that I do not miss the slushie machine. The new tea machines were nice. Really like the Gold Peak teas they offered.

We are CBR lovers and are a bit worried about staying at Pop (any value really) so it always makes me feel good when I hear stories from other posters who have stayed at different levels and love Pop.

If you haven't done so already, call maintenance immediately!

We liked the choices of tea also :thumbsup2 Only so much soda you can drink on a trip, and after a bit you get burnt out on it.

Wish the tea was at least a bit chilled though, as it is served room temp and you need to put ice in it. Maybe some folks like ice tea that way I am not sure so they do not chill it at all :confused3

I tried but the phone isn't working So my mom and I went to the lobby and find another room! But it is fulled up and stay the room! and no one came and fix the tv and the phone! So! for my birthday we are going to stay in All-Star Movies! Oh! one more thing he speaking chinesse! and Our family can't speak chinesse!

I agree with you on the "only so much soda you can drink on a trip" comment. I'm from the Deep South and we have got to have some sweet tea every now and then. Glad to hear they were tasty.

I guess I am not as upset about the slushies being taken away since we have Icee machines at nearly every convenience store/gas station here in Louisiana and we can have them any time we want.

I am sorry for your troubles but I would have asked to speak with someone else if you couldn't understand the "chinese" speaking castmember.
