You got some great fireworks pictures. It sounds like a great way to end a trip. We ended our trip by watching the Spectro parade as well. That baby zebra is too cute. I am glad you all got those pictures and learned more about the animals.

getting those pics from the trainer really made us feel special. it is certainly a great keepsake.

Last Day!

Can’t believe I have finally made it to the end of my trip report. This morning we were all pretty sad to be leaving. We decided to sleep in a bit and tour the resort taking last minute photos. We finally made it to the lounge for our last concierge breakfast and then met antss to head to DHS. For some reason I can’t remember what rides we did this morning except one…..the one I had been dreading but I did promise antss that I would try……TOT! I hate this ride. I usually do not ride but agreed to give it a try. I love roller coasters and such but not this continuing dropping. Mom’s fear of heights meant she was definitely out of this one. So reluctantly, I got in line. I was duped I tell you!!!
I spent so much time taking photos of the line that I hadn’t gotten before and it did calm me down…for a while anyway.

Finally we made it inside and and i got some shots of the lobby.

Finally it was our turn. Antss told me that she wouldn’t put me on the side with all the drops….should have trusted my instincts here. She also said that we could sit in the back….nope…front row…..

before I knew it…up and down we went….up and down…..6 drops later………here is my face………..she couldn’t understand how anyone could actually cry on this ride!

after the ride, I ran and hugged my mom and she told me never to ever trust antss again! Antss had a FP to ride again so mom and I waited in the gift shop while she rode. We headed over to star tours which has always been one of my mom’s favorites. This ride is really outdated and the jerking was making us all sick. We stopped in the backlot express to eat. I had never eaten here before but will definitely stop again….the burger was delicious! We did a little shopping before heading back to the lodge to rest. Mom and I decided to head up to the concierge lounge (which we could use the entire day by the way) and get an afternoon snack and something to drink. We didn’t want to leave antss alone as we were all riding ME together back to the airport so we headed up with plans to bring snacks back down for all. Here I am looking down in the lobby at her…..no she wasn’t jealous at all!

One of the cast members that was really friendly with us was chatting it up with mom and we told him that we were leaving today but meeting a friend back in the lobby. He went and got a tray for us to take a bunch of snacks and beverages down to the lobby with us for antss too……I can’t say enough about the cast members here…they were really terrific!

Afterwards we just spent the rest of the time relaxing and talking about the great trip that we had. Antss was coming back to meet up with glendamax, klofan, and other disers in june and was trying to convince me to come. While sitting there, she even called reservations to check room availability and checked on airfare when she got home. It was soon our time to say goodbye and we all got immediately depressed. we headed off to ME. Everyone got off at the first terminal, including antss so we said our goodbyes. Mom and I were waiting….and waiting…and waiting and finally the driver got back on the bus. 20 minutes later he got back on the bus and I yelled to him…”hello!” he seemed startled and realized that he had forgotten about us. We finally made it over to our terminal and grabbed a sandwich to eat on the plane. As soon as we landed, I got a text from antss telling me that southwest was having an airfare sale that ended at midnight and for me to go home and book. By the time I finally got home I had 5 minutes to decide on a trip and just couldn’t do it. I decided to just relive this trip for a while. 1 week later though I was back in planning mode and I did make it to disney in june again…….yeah!!!!

Thanks to everyone for hanging in here with us on this trip report…We truly did have a magical time and I can’t wait to stay concierge again!

I really must try the Conceirge at AKL and the Safari ride. Maybe DH and I can get away.

And you got some pics of ToT I have never taken. The ones from the side. You looked like my DS when he rides it. DH keeps making him, I keep waiting for social services to be there when we get off.

yep...i was just there with the crew. you must of met up with antss on a day i wasn't there.

thanks for reading along....i'm not doing a trip report for the june trip because gmax is doing one and i can't compete with her. you can find her thread on the trip reports board to see what we were all up to. keep an eye on the meets being set up too and let others know when you are in the world. i didn't know anyone either and started posting to the adults/solo board and now i have some really good friends.

Yeah...that's the same face I made all through Expedition Everest last year. Except mine was green! Well at least that's what my sister said. We get off the ride and I could barely walk, I'm shaking and quite nauseous. I went to sit down and after my sister perused the gift area she came and told me I was green when I got ogg the ride! If she told me right away she would have seen my breakfast a 2nd time! And the only reason the ride freaked me out is because it is in the dark!

Great TR again! Loved all the photos! I totally need my own camera next time.

Next trip I have to try to do the sunrise safari! Just seeing all those animals seemed so worth it!
