I'm getting all caught up and see that you have changed to the Poly! Congratulations! It's so great and we really loved it on our couples trip in May. Loved it so much we are taking the whole crew back in February (arriving Feb 6th - leaving Feb 13th)! We did the 4/3 thing too!

***Make sure that if you want a balcony in Fiji, you HAVE to request 3rd floor! 2nd floor rooms in Fiji do not have balconies! ****

Can't wait to hear more of your plans! Arrival day sounds heavenly!

Wow, you're first day plans sound amazing! The view from that room is absolutely gorgeous!! It sure beats my view right now. I am looking out my window at gushing rains and trees wildly blowing around. There is so much rain being blown at the screen that I can barely see out Lovely day!

You're going to love the magical express too. We did. I hope it works out as nicely for you as it did for us. We literally walked off of our plane, walked to Magical express, we were told which line to go in, where, at the end of that line was someone escorting us right onto the bus. It was wonderful. I LOVE the video. Not on the way back though, it's just sad Mickey is spelling out his name, ya know, like he does. M-I-C, see ya real soon, K-E-Y, why, because I like you. It put tears in my eyes to leave. But we don't focus on that.

Hey Nickie! Day one looks great, a nice and relaxing way to start the vacation!! I'm so excited you are staying at the Poly! I know it is your dream resort! I'll be thinking of you sitting on the beach watching Wishes as I'm in labor since I'm due 1/31!!! You'll love Magical Express, even though it's just a bus ride, I can't imagine starting my Disney vacation any other way!

Just go to https://secure.uvoxnetworks.com/disney/affhome.html?affno=66 and you select the character you want (Mickey, Pooh, Tigger, or Princesses) and then select Good Morning and Continue. Then on the next screen, you can select "Taking a Trip" under "Special Plans for the Day."

Thanks for the heads up! I requested Fiji - 3rd floor (or any room with Balcony!) Wow- so you will be there with the whole gang on the day we leave!! We dont leave until 9PM so maybe we will bump into you guys

The Plan: Sunday, January 31st -Day 2 - Magic Kingdom​

Waking up this morning will not be too hard.... we know that we will be spending our first day at the MAGIC KINGDOM!! I have heard people say that you should do the other parks first and then save MK for last because it is so special BUT I am not one of those people!! I need to see it ASAP and then see it again on our last day too!

We had planned to have breakfast at Crystal Palace but heard that it will be closed (Also just heard Splash Mountain is going to be closed too! UGH)

So now we are having breakfast at Liberty Tavern - we were able to get an 8:05AM Reservation!!
Looks like we will be able to get the Pre park Opening Photo after all!!

After going on Dumbo, Cinderella's Golden Carousel, It's a Small World, Mad Tea Party, Mickeys PhilharMagic, Peter Pan's Flight and Myles and Owen's favorite play spot...Pooh's Playful Spot we will head to lunch!


Lunch: (2:00PM) Tonys! Hopefully we will sit again on the Patio and watch the parade.

After the parade we plan on heading back to the hotel,we will say our goodbyes to Jeff and Shannon and rest up a little before dinner.

Dinner: (6:30PM) We thought we would order a pizza tonight in the room and just relax and let the kids play. After we will head out to the MK for Wishes and taking advantage of EMH. It's going to be a late night!!

What a day we will have had!

Nicki your second day sounds great! I like the idea of catching "Wishes" from in the park and EMH; if the boys are up for that! another breakfast idea would be to eat on snack credits at the bakery in MK! Missy has pictures of it on her thread (I'll have to come back with her dis name--can't remember if you were following her or not?!?) anyway it looks and sounds great!! I have been reading great things about their cinnamon rolls.

Ooh! Day 2 looks very magical!! Bummer about Crystal Palace, that's one of my fav bfast buffets! I think I read they were going to open LTT for a character bfast as an alternative, but don't quote me on that one!! I agree that MK is a first and last day park. To me, MK IS Disney, the other parks are just a bonus!! I can't believe you'll be back in the magic in 3 months! How exciting!!

Day 2 looks great!

You can't see the parade from Adventureland but can from Frontierland. You could just cut through by the bathrooms and watch.

I'd watch the fireworks from the Poly beach I think. You've seen them in the MK already so seeing them on the beach would be really nice.

Watching the fireworks from 'Ohana was cool. If you are going to be in MK another night you can watch them then. Or I'm not sure if you are doing hoppers but you can go to MK after going to AK or DHS to watch them. I think if I was at the Poly, I'd watch them every night!! Once from 'Ohana, once or twice from MK, once from the Poly beach... ummmm you get the point!
